Chick-Fil-A came under criticism this month after a report by the organization Equality Matters revealed that the company donated around $2 million to antigay Christian organizations in 2010. Guilty as charged, the fast-food chains president Dan Cathy said over allegations that his company is antigay (We are very much supportive of the familythe biblical definition of the family unit.).
So. Here we are. Tumblr, listen up.
Were hoping to find a current or former employee of Chick-Fil-A who might want to spill the beans on life inside the alleged antigay company.
If thats you, or you know someone who might want to talk to us, please email brian.ries@newsweekdailybeast.com. And if youd like to help spread the word of our search, a reblog or a tweet would be most appreciated.
How are they anti-gay? They oppose gay marriage, but what else? I mean, I think I might be “anti-gay” by some definitions, but I don’t consider myself to be “anti-gay”. Truth be told, compared to most freepers, I am positively libertine on the subject, but I still oppose much of the “gay agenda”. Hmmmmm.
“Brian Ries is senior social-media editor at Newsweek /The Daily Beast. He lives in Brooklyn with his two cats, Peter Ike Lee and Lucky Mr Loki. His Twitter account is not yet verified. He can be reached at moneyries@gmail.com.”
And this scumbag is supposed to be taken as a serious journalist?
I just ate there, it was tasty.
“It’s over, this is what it looks like.”
THOUGHTCRIME is now real, and a howling mob is the Thought Police, whipped by the State Owned Media.
It’s not over, this is part of the beginning.
I’m a courier and have no affiliation with Chik-fil-A other than as a customer. The place is packed every lunch hour for ONE reason: the food. It doesn’t hurt that the employees are nice and the place is clean and the service is excellent. Chik-fil-A will lose none of the business they’ve earned, the food is that good (remember, we’re talking about fast food).
I e-mailed.
How can a group claiming diversity, exclude a certain other group?
I thanked him for the publicity, claiming before all this publicity about Chik-Fil-A I had no idea how good their food was. And now I’ll probably eat there every Wed.
“Why dont they do what they always do, just make something up”
That’s what my first post is about. They will make something up, loudly, get caught, and whisper a lame apology about how sorry they are they got caught.
I found the closest Chick-Fil-A today and took my grandson there for lunch. I was astonished at their level of service. Way beyond what I expected from a fast food place. I will go back.
Oooo, me too.
So? I think businesses that give to pro-homosexual organizations should be outed. Let's see who get's Americas business then.
We need a list of homosexual supporting businesses so we can spread them around the web. Why not? Shouldn't people know who these businesses really are, and their vision of what they want America to be like ??? Queers raping little boys everywhere?
You gay activists are showing how intolerant you really are...
Let’s all respond.
Pose as a gay person and sing rhapsodies about how Chik-Fil-A treats us with dignity and respect.
You know, that quote has me wondering. "The company" donated $2 million? Really? Could it be Cathy (along with other employees) donated $2 million? I don't see any company donating funds from their coffers, but I could be wrong.
Of course the gays are going to lash out, 1% of the population means nothing to me. They can whine all they want, it will do no good. The 99% of the rest of us says go away, you have no say in the matter. If the gay people want to push the issue, then they will have to face the backlash, and it will be ugly.
I never heard of them until this. Now I'm a huge supporter. There's one within driving distance of the grocery store. I didn't even know it was there.
It would be a good idea to start family nights at Chic Fil A. Maybe extended families can use this to get together more often. Maybe all relatives can meet on a certain night. It would strengthen the family that some times gets too busy to see each other.
Oh, and remember to find pro-family organizations to donate to. I'm sure they'd appreciate it. What's happening to Chic Fil A could be used to start a national "Fight Back Aganist the Thought Police" campaign.
You're right. But we have been pushed over the cliff. It will get worse, there is no chance it will get better. Don't wait for the next event that locks us in death's grip. That has passed. This is what (in deference to your precision) the beginning looks like. Alea iacta est. |
The writers, bloggers and publishers of newsweek are domestic terrorists. Plain and simple. They should be held accountable for the terrorism they bask in...
I always have tried to get the options of both sides so I torture myself by trying to read some of the posts over at DU. I can usually make it between 10-15 minutes before I feel the over whelming urge to take a shower to rid myself of the filth posted there. Even the head of the site, Skinner, cannot post without cussing and trying to berate others. I have even seen a thread started by Skinner with a 2 word title and one was the F-Bomb. That there shows the level of maturity of the far left liberals.

LOL!
OK.
