We finished our new 'Tea Party Supports Ted Cruz' TV ad just in time as early voting starts today! Dear Friends,
Thanks to your passion and generous support, we reached our fundraising goal and worked over the weekend to complete our new 'Tea Party Supports Ted Cruz' TV ad that highlights that Cruz is the true conservative that will fight for our Tea Party values,
Here it is, what do you think?
Click here to play We finished the ad just in time as the election is just 1 WEEK away and it is crunch time! It is clear that momentum is on the side of Tea Party candidate Ted Cruz , but we can't let up with early voting starting TODAY in this important election.
The Dewhurst campaign and his political establishment backers are in a panic and are responding as they have in the past; by pouring millions of dollars on false attack ads against Ted Cruz. We need to have the resources to defend Ted Cruz to maintain his lead. Tea Party candidate Ted Cruz needs your support.
As the Cruz campaign points out, "Only one thing stands in the way of sending a proven conservative who will reduce government and defend the Constitution to the U.S. Senate... raising enough money to withstand another $10 million-plus negative onslaught from Dewhurst and his Super PACs. We have an opportunity to take the U.S. Senate and remove the gavel from the hands of Harry Reid! In Texas, we have the opportunity to send a TRUE fiscal conservative to the U.S. Senate one that will fight for the people and will not be bullied by the D.C. insiders and party elders. Lets take this opportunity by electing Ted Cruz to the U.S. Senate!

I will vote for Cruz on my way home tonight from the business I did not build. That is after I pay the highway tolls that go to some Spanish firm Perry outsourced to.

Conveniently spewed Perry-hating talking points are easily refuted.
So what road specifically?

Well, you are right and I am wrong. Had my facts confused. The road is George Bush Tollway. I had read that operation and maintenance was outsourced to a company called ICA. I had made the bad assumption ICA was the company (based in Spain) getting all the attention during the debates in the Trans Texas Corridor. ICA is really a US firm, privately held, based out of Tennessee. They have the contract.
My bad.

It isn’t often that we have candidates running as Constitutional conservatives who are really experts on the Constitution. We have Mike Lee in the Senate now, and it would be great to add Ted Cruz. We are never going to have a lot, but it only takes a few leaders to turn the tide back in the conservative direction. Getting Ted Cruz elected should be a high priority.

Not that bad. Governor Perry was even trying to convert freeways into toll roads. He’s nuts on the issue and was only stopped when Kay started using it against him in the 2010 primary.
In any case, it really doesn’t matter anymore - he won’t be around after 2014, as conservatives are SICK of him (remember, he’s supporting his bitch in the State Senate, Dewhurst). He made a fool of himself in the primaries and he’s done...and not a day too soon.
You’re instincts are right - the tolling levels in Texas is MUCH HIGHER than in most of the country - the tolls are a slush fund for mayors and others. It is SHAMEFUL.
