New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who has emerged as one of the nation’s highest-profile supporters of gun control, demanded on Friday that the presidential candidates “stand up and tell us what they’re going to do about” mass shootings.

Yep, yet another mass shooting in a gun-free zone, and all this pinhead can do is bleat for even MORE restrictions on law-abiding gun owners.

One of my thoughts was that this would be used for justifying TSA-like checkpoints at public venues like movie theaters, sporting events, malls, etc.

The real issue is why were there not enough or any armed citizens present to take out this monster when he began his rampage. One man with a 1911 and a spine and this would be a story of heroism and not a story about the slaughter of innocents.

New York City has approxiamtely 3 gun related deaths a day. What is that POS going to do about it since his call to bans guns has already been done there?

What sort of stricter controls would have prevented this? None that I can think of. While talking about controls might make for high readings on the warm & fuzzy meter the truth is life is dangerous. Nothing can mitigate that single fact. The govt can’t guarantee your safety. Once you realize this one can only conclude more arms are wanted along w/ vigilance.
They just better hope this is not a fast and furious arsenal this maniac was walking around with.
