What Obama Doesn’t Get

“If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

Easily one of the most insulting phrases uttered by President Obama or any president, it denigrates individual American spirit, ambition, drive, skill and industriousness.

He gets it. He’s just trying to CHANGE it. “Change” meant “Change our FORM OF GOVERNMENT”; Transferring power from the people TO the government. He’s enabling the power elite to STEAL America from us, from G.E. all the way to the United Nations. Just a little oversight voters in 2008 made. “People” will soon have very little control of America, if any.

Its a cinch that, if you’ve got a business, Mr. Obama didn’t build it. The fact is, that in his entire life he has never built anything. Never made a payroll, never produced a product, never ran a company, never created anything.

So its understandable that he hasn’t the faintest idea how a country works. I don’t blame him for not knowing what he couldn’t possibly know.

I blame the people who entrusted this country to a bumbling fool you wouldn’t hire to run a convenience store. As others have said, the problem isn’t Obama. The problem is that people have so little respect for their country that they would give the presidency to someone who never did anything.

You know a man by his fruit, as they say, and you should certainly notice when a man has none at all.

Obama is projecting his personal experience onto everyone else. He is the one who has never accomplished anything on his own.

Affirmative action has taken Obama all the way to POTUS and must believe that is how we all got where we are.

This will go down as the biggest gaffe in the history of the presidency. Actually, this isn't a gaffe - it's what the socialist Obama actually believes. He never actually accomplished anything himself so he assumes that nobody else accomplished anything either.

This remark is going to be the undoing of Obama. Mark my words. The majority of Americans are sickened and disgusted by this line of thinking...

Indirectly, you have explained why Obama said what he said. Of all the people out there, Obama is probably one of those who has benefited the most from what other people have done for him, and has done little, if anything, on his own to merit what he has and the positions he has attained over the years. So it's almost a natural worldview for Obama to assume that you get where you are through the efforts of others. When you have no achievements of your own, you tend to claim that others who have must have likewise attained nothing through their own efforts. Just like an alcoholic who doesn't see himself as a drunk, or a lazy man who does not see himself as slothful, Obama simply sees the word through a glass that masks individual achievement in favor of collectivist redistribution.
