I'm sorry folks, but a man who can justify and rationalize in his own mind the wholesale slaughter of innocent human life can justify any kind of evil whatsoever. And he has.
He's justified homosexual marriage, homosexuals in the Boy Scouts, homosexuals in the military. That homosexual couples should be able to adopt children. He's justified that guns are dangerous and should be banned. That free citizens should be forced by the government to purchase insurance contracts against their will or face stiff penalties or taxes. That mandated forced socialized healthcare is a good thing.
That abortion should be safe and legal in America. That since Roe v Wade has been in effect for over twenty years that it is settled law and should be defended as same. That when the government puts Planned Parenthood on the board of his own brainchild signature accomplishment and makes taxpayer funded abortion available on demand, "it's not his fault." That when he appoints liberal judges and appointees, it's not his fault. When a judge rules that homosexual couples should be allowed to marry, so HE orders it done, it's not his fault.
He's justified that the earth is warming and it's caused by man and we are going to have to do something about it. He's justified that since the economy is down and some companies are failing, that it's a good thing that the government stepped in and bailed them out. That government should spend MORE of what it doesn't have to stimulate the economy. That the debt limit should be increased so the government can continue spending even more of what it doesn't have. He's justified in his own mind that fee hikes are not tax increases.
My friends he has justified and personally enacted just about the entire liberal/progressive, abortionist/homosexualist, statist/socialist, big government anti-liberty agenda.
And they have the gonads to ask me for MY vote?
Thank you, Jim.
Most RINO-charmed dolts on here need a splash of ice water in their faces every once in a while.
[::nods::] As I thought: horse s#it.
MY "real issue" is refusing to cast my vote for an open and unapologetic socialist... of either party.
YOUR "real issue" is, thankfully, your own dizzy lookout, and no concern of my own. (*WHEW!*)
Mine has the singular advantage of keeping me off of my knees. Which makes for precisely one of us.
You don't seem to understand how evil Obama is. He needs to go for the sake of national defense alone.

Is this where I get to accuse you of scurrying away from a simple question?
What about the name recognition issue? Do you believe that your argument is based solely on ideological purity?
Not until you do the assigned math you've been so desperately (and ineffectually) dodging these past twenty-four hours, no.

You're demonstrating that you don't even comprehend any "arguments" I've made, thus far. Nothing in the preceding even relates to anything I've posted; it's as if you're simply arguing with the voices in your own head, at this juncture.
Seriously. Push yourself away from the monitor. Go outside. Walk around the block once or twice. Get a hold of yourself, for heaven's sake.
Scary. Scary.
Thanks, I’ll do my best, our Republic deserves no less. The Obama administration is a cancer on our Country that must be removed, his appointments made in the next 4 years will fundamentally change our Country for a generation or more. I trust Judge Bork, Romney’s chief advisor for judicial appointments, that man is beyond reproach.

However, instead of trying to convince real Conservatives to give up their values and vote for Mitt why don't you go convince some fascist Obots to give up their values and vote for Mitt ~ it should be much easier since they and Mitt have pretty much identical value systems.
Get those make up votes ~ your new found Democrat friends know how to "vote early and often" so that ought to be worth a couple of dozen votes for Mitt.
Railing against real Conservatives isn't getting you anywhere electorally.
Future Snake Eater,
Like you, I joined FR in 2001, in my case shortly after 9/11 when I was inspired to get back into discussions of politics on the internet.
Previous to that I bounced around from forum to forum and didn’t even know FR existed. Some of the forums I went to were leftist forums and on one in particular (TableTalk, Salon.com) I read leftist posts that had an obsession with what they called “Freepers”. I myself was accused of being a Freeper, though I didn’t know what it was and didn’t find out until 2001.
My point is that I have a very clear memory of leftists more than 10 years ago obsessing on the existence of Free Republic.
What does that mean to me today?
It means this:
I believe that over the long years, various leftists have planted themselves in FR with the intention of being useful to various leftist causes without outing themselves.
The perfect leftist cause has now presented itself: the re-election of Barack Obama.
And the perfect “cover” is now in place: the attacks on Romney as being “no different than Obama”.
I don’t know who is a sleeper leftist on FR and who isn’t but based on what I remember from TableTalk and based on how I know leftists think, I would say that there are definitely SOME sleepers here in FR pushing “Romney is the same as Obama” in an attempt to limit the anti-Obama vote.
Again, I have no idea who is or isn’t a closet sleeper (with one exception — there’s one person who basically says “Romney is as bad as Obama” who I am sure is a true blue conservative), but I know there are at least some sleepers here.
There have to be.
For every “Romney is as bad as Obama” post that you read, you have to judge for yourself whether it’s worth arguing about.
For one thing, you might be arguing with a good conservative who just, as a matter of conscience, cannot support Romney under any circumstances. Even though I think their reasoning is flawed (this is a battlefield, not a university debating society), I respect their feelings and I respect their emotions.
On the other hand, you might be arguing with a dedicated leftist out to re-elect Barack Obama.
I just think that’s worth keeping in mind.
It was only a matter of time before you belched your usual swamp gas.
Now, I imagine Diogenese will soon follow with is usual yammering pap and bandwidth wasting images.
I told you, if it's important enough to you to put Romney in office go convert an OBOT.
That way you'll get a vote FOR Romney, and TAKE ONE AWAY FROM Obama.
BTW, you might get Romney to cough up his tax records. It's getting to be a major GOP-e issue ~ and Romney seems to think his records should remain confidential and private.
Could be he'd rather not be your President!
Did I say he was a faithless candidate? Well, yes I did, and there it is again. You people put all your hopes in this one guy and he just doesn't stand up for principles ~ just his money.
Gad!
Well, my post is the absolute truth. Sorry it bothers you so much.
Now, I've taken away a vote from Obama and another vote from Romney. I may well GIVE a vote to somebody else!
My voting strength is THREE VOTES that way you count votes.
Still, what you can do to make up for whatever it is you think I'm doing is go out there and find an Obot to convert to a Mittbot! That way you can catch up with me in taking away a vote from Obama, and maybe he'll show up to actually vote for Romney.
Be a force multiplier for the Mittbots.
Thank you very much, fwdude.
I was thinking is more of a Morton's fork.
Coming onto a conservative website? What does that mean?
***You know, when you decided to post this paragraph here, that’s what it means. Why didn’t you comment on the rest of the sentence? Why are you trying to separate conservatives from their conservative principles? That is not conservative. You are not conservative.
Ive been here since early 2001.
***And I was here 3 years before that. The last time we had the tootyfruityrudy bugzapper thread, there were other longstanding freepers who outed themselves as nonconservative.
Ive spent two years overseas fighting for this country.
***Thank you for your service.
Do you think I dont care about it?
***I think you care deeply about our country. But I’ve also met liberals who’ve fought for 2 years overseas.
That Im all about surrender?
***Apparently, when it comes to the fear that drives you about Obama, you gave into it. It does not appear that since you fought for our country that you gave into the fear that presents itself at that time.
I voted for the guy I wanted to win (Newt) and he didnt. Since I live in the real world, I move forward with defeating the enemy.
***Are you conservative?
Voting for Romney is not a validation of him, but it is certainly a repudiation of Obama.
***Voting for Romney is voting for a librul. How is it a repudiation of a librul to vote for another librul?
Quite frankly, this is all a waste of our time. You and about 47 others will vote for Tom Hoefling and Virgil Goode, pat yourselves on the back, and preen about being true conservatives. The rest of us who dont live in Fantasy Land will defeat Obama and move on to the next fightcontaining Romney.
***All the more reason for for you caring republicans to focus your efforts on the mushy middle and RINOs rather than sowing discord among conservatives.
>Give us an example of what you are talking about and well discuss it.
***
1) I never watched the debates.
2) If either of you say to me, “the conservatives never ‘spoke evil’ of each other in debates and ads”, and you ping the other, I will believe you
