A man who can justify mass murder of innocent human life should be president?
July 17, 2012 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 07/17/2012 11:55:45 AM PDT by Jim Robinson

I'm sorry folks, but a man who can justify and rationalize in his own mind the wholesale slaughter of innocent human life can justify any kind of evil whatsoever. And he has.

He's justified homosexual marriage, homosexuals in the Boy Scouts, homosexuals in the military. That homosexual couples should be able to adopt children. He's justified that guns are dangerous and should be banned. That free citizens should be forced by the government to purchase insurance contracts against their will or face stiff penalties or taxes. That mandated forced socialized healthcare is a good thing.

That abortion should be safe and legal in America. That since Roe v Wade has been in effect for over twenty years that it is settled law and should be defended as same. That when the government puts Planned Parenthood on the board of his own brainchild signature accomplishment and makes taxpayer funded abortion available on demand, "it's not his fault." That when he appoints liberal judges and appointees, it's not his fault. When a judge rules that homosexual couples should be allowed to marry, so HE orders it done, it's not his fault.

He's justified that the earth is warming and it's caused by man and we are going to have to do something about it. He's justified that since the economy is down and some companies are failing, that it's a good thing that the government stepped in and bailed them out. That government should spend MORE of what it doesn't have to stimulate the economy. That the debt limit should be increased so the government can continue spending even more of what it doesn't have. He's justified in his own mind that fee hikes are not tax increases.

My friends he has justified and personally enacted just about the entire liberal/progressive, abortionist/homosexualist, statist/socialist, big government anti-liberty agenda.

And they have the gonads to ask me for MY vote?

Glad you like it Ing, I had to change it 6 times this year. So now all of the ProLife groups are pro abortion, right? I have been watching these Ron Paul types telling us losing is winning and Obama ain’t so bad in fact it will be good because he will destroy the country and then the people will come to us to save them. Sorry, all those who wish to surrender to Obama, form a line in the back.

See post #82.

I saw that post. Just so the casual reader knows what you're referring to, here it is:

I live in a predominantely African-American area. It has been in the papers that on previous elections, when the polls closed, the poll workers “voted” for those people who hadn’t bothered to come out and vote. In other words, they gave extra votes to the Democratic candidates. So, I stand by my statement that staying home is a vote for Obama!

In other words, Democrats are going to cheat like they do in every election. And this is supposed to terrify me into giving my vote to someone whose record mirrors Obama's in all but party affiliation?

Yes, by all means. Let's 'win' by ousting the radical left-liberal from the White House, and install our own radical left-liberal in the White House. Brilliant! That'll save the nation!

Read and sign:

“I, __________________, declare that I have decided that conservatism has failed, and as such, I will vote for the liberal Republican, Mitt Romney, a man whose left-wing record in office I am fully aware of. It is with open eyes and no regrets that I now disavow everything that conservative ideals and the American Constitution ever stood for, just to get Obama out of office.

Further, by doing so, I accept that I have adopted the very things I formerly despised, to get a liberal elected President, and henceforth have no legitimate right to ever be trusted again - since my newly adopted situational ethics allow me to bend like a twig in the prevailing political winds."

Signed, _____________________________

Yep.

Some key points from the text you posted:

1. Romney remains what he has been his entire political life: an anti-constitution, anti-republican. This is shown by his consistent belief that courts make law. He is, and always has been, a judicial supremacist.

2. His default position because of the above is the status quo, ie abortion on demand.

3. He does not believe in the self-evident truth of the founding, which is that our rights come from God, not from any man, and that they are therefore unalienable. This is shown by his immoral, un-American belief that our most important unalienable right can be decided by a democratic vote. He is therefore, by definition, a pro-choice democrat.

4. His pro-choice for states position is a Stephen A. Douglas Democrat position.

Mitt Romney is telling a Big Lie when he says he is pro-life.

“Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not so costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival. There may be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no chance of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.” -Winston Churchill

I just thought I would tell you that the corrupt, compromised, Romney-bought, RNC-satellite, fake ProLife movement industry supports Gov. Romney...

Fixed that up for you.

You miss the point of my comments. As well, I am not surrendering and voting for Romney. What matters it which of them destroys the country?

I agree. And the mentality that refuses to vote third party because the third party “can’t win” is also leading to our destruction. If everyone who believes the way the third party believes votes for their candidate, then maybe the third party could win, or at least become a force to be reckoned with in future elections.

Alas, my FRiend, but I believe your efforts are an exercise in futility. These poor folks are obviously suffering from the result of public education. It's the 'new math' ; )

God save and protect this great nation from both the profoundly politically craven... and the thickly, proudly innumerate. ;)

Regarding Mr Robinson, he has been my personal hero for about 14 years. Yes, he set me straight in the primary and I followed his lead and supported Gov. Palin she chose not to run. Then I supported Gov Perry, then Speaker Gingrich then Sen Santorum. I think I’m forgetting someone. Oh Herman Cain. Now I’m a Romney man. I consider Obama and his team the most serious threat to our Republic, my State and my family. I admit it, I sometimes go to far but I remain a little scarred from the 1992 campaign when the enemy divided us and we had 8 years of Clinton-Gore. I was happy in 2000 when we turned the tables on them and Ralph Nader helped us keep Gore out the WH. If we fall for that trick again we will deserve what we get. Sorry for calling you guys trolls but please consider the consequences of 4 more years of Obama and his men putting in Federal Judges and everything else, selling us out to the Russians and Chinese, please, this group is not messing around.

I didn’t say it’s a vote for Obama, but it does benefit him, regardless. 1992 and 2000 proved that.

But you go on with the circular firing squad. I’m sure it’s winning vast numbers to your cause of nihilism.

“Coming onto a conservative website”? What does that mean? I’ve been here since early 2001. I’ve spent two years overseas fighting for this country. Do you think I don’t care about it? That I’m all about surrender? I voted for the guy I wanted to win (Newt) and he didn’t. Since I live in the real world, I move forward with defeating the enemy. Voting for Romney is not a validation of him, but it is certainly a repudiation of Obama.

Quite frankly, this is all a waste of our time. You and about 47 others will vote for Tom Hoefling and Virgil Goode, pat yourselves on the back, and preen about being “true conservatives.” The rest of us who don’t live in Fantasy Land will defeat Obama and move on to the next fight—containing Romney.

Jim, you and I part company on this rant of yours. I will be cancelling my monthly donation to FR.

We cannot afford four more years of Obama and his pet RATS and don't give me that crap about Romney being "Obama-Lite".

This is an interesting asylum you have created here and the quality of those you have driven off is an indictment of your position.

I know I am only one person, but my vote matters and I will not follow your dictates and cast it for Obama to stick my thumb in the GOP-E eyes.

You had a great run, Jim, but like too many "leaders", you have started to believe your own press releases.

I didn’t say it’s a vote for Obama

Then you're intentionally avoiding the actual question, as written; and, therefore, wasting both your own time and mine.

1992 and 2000 proved that.

Horse crap. You steadfastly refuse to even attempt "proving" anything, by maniacally twisting yourself into so many rhetorical pretzels in desperate (and obvious) attempt to avoid providing the actual, elementary school math in support of your repeated (and unsupported) assertion, as per the posit provided.

Peddle it to someone who's interested in buying.

Jim's "dictate" is that people "cast [votes] for Obama"...? Really?

Point to it.

If you do not vote for Romney, you are voting, in effect, for Obama.

Oh, you can vote for a third-party candidate, or sit on your hands, and that is exactly like pissing your pants in a dark suit...it will give you a warm feeling, but nobody will notice!

Your questions are meaningless because they avoid the real issue: How does voting for an obscure third party candidate defeat Obama?

Thankfully the numbers in question are so low as to be ineffective in disrupting Obama’s defeat, but it’s fascinating to see the anger and discomfort anyway.

Don’t believe me? Let’s play the “front door” game: go out your front door and ask the first ten (or 100 or 1000) people you see the following questions:

1) Do you know who Mitt Romney is?
2) Do you know who Barack Obama is?
3) Do you know who Virgil Goode is?
4) Do you know who Tom Hoefling is?

Stack the results of 1) and 2) against 3) and 4). It’s not about purity of policy at this point. It’s about name recognition. The political/current events junkies aren’t enough to sway anything at this point. It’s about the masses, their knowledge of the names, and their general attitude towards that individual.
