America's leading small business association has slammed Barack Obama for showing 'an utter lack of understanding' of the country's entrepreneurs when he told them: 'If you've got a business - you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen.'
In a hard-hitting statement to Mail Online, the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) president Dan Danne said: 'What a disappointment to hear President Obama's revealing comments challenging the significance of America's entrepreneurs.
Mr Danne added: 'His unfortunate remarks over the weekend show an utter lack of understanding and appreciation for the people who take a huge personal risk and work endless hours to start a business and create jobs.'
President Obama said in a speech at the weekend that governments and not individuals create jobs, telling entrepreneurs: 'If you've got a business - you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen.'
He added: 'You didn't get there on your own. I'm always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart.'...

The most disappointing thing of all is that his comments resonate with a large part of the population.

Obama can say that. All his life he has been a net recipient of Government programs. What he has witnessed and all he knows is “it comes from the government”, “it came from the white man” or its from the capitalists.
Never has he participated in building a business, seeing a opportunity, good or service to be provided. Never has he accumulated the capital and taken the risk of business.
Nor does he know anything about the development of America. Let alone the culture or heritage. The farms, the birth of the CME, NYSE etc etc etc.
He probably knows one thing that slaves built all of America. Alaska, Montana, heck, the west, the midwest...etc etc.... and that John Deere was the original racist who put all the black out of work!

When I did a Google and Bing search of this statement earlier today, no sites other than conservative ones were mentioning it. This asinine statement by the “One” will not be heard by anyone who uses the DBM or leftist sites for their news.

A large part of the populace in America agrees with this guy, so even if they happen to hear it, they will most likely cheer it as did those in the audience when he said it.
The fact is, he knows how to tap into the worst part of human nature. In this case, it’s all those out there who believe they are as smart and work as hard as someone who started a business and is very successful at it, but also believe those who are successful are just lucky, in the right place at the right time, or someone paved the way for them.
Envy is a huge part of the liberal playbook.
