A large part of the populace in America agrees with this guy, so even if they happen to hear it, they will most likely cheer it as did those in the audience when he said it.

The fact is, he knows how to tap into the worst part of human nature. In this case, it’s all those out there who believe they are as smart and work as hard as someone who started a business and is very successful at it, but also believe those who are successful are just lucky, in the right place at the right time, or someone paved the way for them.

Envy is a huge part of the liberal playbook.

Exactly. His ploy works because of widespread ignorance of the entrepreneur's life and function in the economy. Look at the success of books like Shades of Grey, whose billionaire is nothing like any Internet entrepreneur on this earth.

Actually, all the ploy need to work is vanity!
