Charlie Sheen hasn't spent all of his money on crack and hookers ... in fact, the Warlock has announced he's donating ONE MILLION DOLLARS to support our men and women in uniform.
Sheen has pledged to give at least $1 million to the U.S.O (United Service Org.) ... the largest single contribution the USO has ever received from an individual.
Sheen says he will donate 1% of the profits from his "Anger Management" earnings ... with a minimum of $1 mil ... and an unlimited cap. So the more $ he makes from his show, the more $ goes to the USO.
General John I. Pray, Jr., Executive Vice President and Joint Chief of Staff, U.S. Air Force released a statement saying, [Sheen's] support is greatly appreciated, especially from our wounded warriors and their families.
Sheen also released a statement saying, "Its an honor for me to be able to give back to these men and women of the military who have done so much for all of us."
He adds, "They put their lives on the line for us every day, and Im just happy that my work on 'Anger Management' can bring a little bit of relief to the troops and their families.
Good for him!
No doubt Martin is having fits over it, since he is such a hardcore leftist.
Blow the horn Charlie!
Look at his OLD movie gigs.
2 1/2 men was just maintenance money.
Charlie's one of the good guys. I wish him all good things....and hoping he cleans up his act a little bit better.
Go TIGER!!!
When someone does something good....You say thank you.
I’ll never forget that picture of Martin Sheen with a big piece of duct tape over his mouth to protest the Iraq war. :)
I suspect the is is just a calculated, self-promotion scheme to help reboot his career.
But, as calculated, self-promotion schemes go, this is a pretty good one.
He just wants to have a successful long run for his series. Just buying some loyal viewers. Plus more $ and security for him and his kids in the long run. It’s all about the $$. IMO of course. Gee maybe more stars should do this. How about those guys on Modern Family doing the same? They won’t because they know their ratings would drop if proceeds went to promote gay groups. Charlie just knows who is in the majority.
Idol" Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe told us he would LOVE to have Charlie Sheen and Jerry Lewis as judges for season 12. Nigel would not say if he was joking ... but he repeated his wish list several times during the conversation.
I don't know if Jerry Lewis would do that though. He's no fan of Reality TV at all. As the article states he's busy in Nashville directing a stage play.
Enough other dupes will thank him. I don’t thank Obama for confiscating makers’ money and redistributing it to takers, just because he’s helping out the takers.
This is self-serving. Far less to do with actual charity.
First good news I’ve heard about him or from him in a good long time. Kudos..and I hope he continues to improve.
Well, making a statement like that is one way of getting people like me to watch his mediocre show. After Two and a Half Men, a ten, his new show is a 3 or 4 at the most. Still, thank you Charlie for your good deed.
When W.C. Fields was asked what he did with all his money he said, I spent half of it on drinking, gambling and women, the other half I just wasted.

Here is a little more info. Anger Management is co produced by Ramon Estevez and Estevez Sheen Productions which is Martin Sheen’s company. Charlie probably owns some of it.
There is a 10 show deal. If it hits certain ratings target 90 episodes will be bought.
So Sheen needs the ratings and if it happens USO wins...well maybe..it is Hollywood.
Obama joke in episode 2
