CAIRO (Reuters) - Protesters threw tomatoes and shoes at U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's motorcade on Sunday during her first visit to Egypt since the election of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi.
A tomato struck an Egyptian official in the face, and shoes and a water bottle landed near the armoured cars carrying Clinton's delegation in the port city of Alexandria.
A senior state department official said that neither Clinton nor her vehicle, which were around the corner from the incident, were struck by any of the projectiles.
Protesters chanted: "Monica, Monica", a reference to Former President Bill Clinton's extra-marital affair. Some chanted: "leave, Clinton", Egyptian security officials said.

The Islamic Brotherhood do have a way of pointing out to Clinton that Mubarak was a good ally to the USA, and that Obamas betrayal of Mubarak and Libyas Gadaffi,both United States allies, was grossly incompetant, and willfully destructive of US interests abroad.
” Monica, Monica, Monica!” is a chant which shows Hillery that if she were exposed physically to this Egyptian crowd of Islamofascists, she would have been treated the same way as several Western female reporters were.
And yet these Obama minions over at the State Department STILL will not awaken to the truth? All they have done is sow the seeds of a possible world war.This is the genuine legacy of Clinton and Obama in the Middle East.They are warmongers extraordinaire. They have caused the needless deaths of tens of thousands of people.

All this, just when she thought it was safe to pass herself off as the credible equivalent of a REAL diplomat who achieved HIS/HER status and prestige because of personal merit, proved qualifications, actual experience and professionalism! HA!! It's what she DESERVES!

Agreed. The Monica chant completely surprised me. I thought and I am sure the Clintons thought it had been successfully buried. To have it come back like this is refreshing. I, like you, wish it had been Americans but hey...I will take what I can get.
