CENTERVILLE, Mass. (AP) -- Seven weeks after she hanged herself, Mary Richardson Kennedy was reburied in a Cape Cod cemetery 700 feet from her original grave near other Kennedy family members.
Frank Maki, superintendent of the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery near Hyannisport, told The Associated Press on Saturday that Robert Kennedy's estranged wife was exhumed earlier this month.

I guess the Kennedys were worried about a sinner being buried among them on holy ground...

WTH?
Maybe now she can rest.
Couldn’t they find a river close by?
When are they going to look into the circumstances surrounding her death?
Women don’t typically hang themselves. It wouldn’t be the first time an estranged husband had his wife killed. It wouldn’t be a first for the Kennedy family.
White trash to the end.
Her Family did not want Her there, is what I read somewhere. That must of been here, this is My only News source.
From the article:
“The Richardson family said his account was filled with lies.
They lost a court fight to bury her at a location of their choosing.”
So, the kennedys are so low they won’t even let her family handle the burial? God, what a mean and petty group. The kennedys deserve everything that has happened and will happen to them (if trends continue).
Her kids are kennedy’s and will be buried at the kennedy family plot. I would think she would want to be near her children. I guess not....
It’s the Kennedy’s war on women....there such “white trash”
[Later] I did a little googling, and it does look like there's a lot of room there. They must have bought it when Joe Kennedy had lots of money and the rest of the country didn't. But still, there are a lot of Kennedy grandchildren.
And who's to say that her kids won't want to be buried with her, or what the world will look like decades from now?
FWIW, Ted and Jackie were buried at Arlington with Jack and Bobby. Presumably, Ethel could be buried there, apart from her own children.
The Kennedys belong on a reality tv show.
Families buried together harkens back to a time when basically no one left their home town, except pioneers. Generation after generation married within a very small geographic area, usually within a limited number of other inter-related families. That situation no longer prevails.
That heroin addict lawyer husband of hers,RFK Jr,had already thrown her on the trash heap like so many Kennedy men have done to so many women. It was just the lack of a little piece of paper that allows him to decide where she's buried. So,in life she wasn't worth a warm bucket of spit to him but in death he becomes the grieving widower who so very much wants her buried with "her family".
For that matter, have you,or anyone else, considered the possibility of murder? Divorces cost big money, particularly when one party owns a share in a multi billion dollar trust.Widowhood equals no divorce settlement...no alimony...no child support...no need to sell the family home...no need to worry about a tell all book...perhaps one in which the use of heroin is mentioned. It's happened before...and it's not as if women involved with "Camelot" haven't met with an ugly (and premature) demise.
Ironically, Kennedy married Mary Richardson aboard a boat on the Hudson river. The wedding took place three weeks to the day after his divorce from his first wife.
From the article: "They {the Richardson family} lost a court fight to bury her at a location of their choosing."
The Kennedys forced the burial to be at the Kennedy's cemetery near their family compound, and then they dug her up and moved her to a plot in remote corner away from from the plots of other Kennedys.
#$%^&#@ Kennedys!
