I think that Condoleezza Rice would be a wonderful vice president, Palin told Fox News on Thursday night. She compared Rice's past experience favorably to that of Obama.
But Palin dismissed concerns over Rice's stance on the subject.
I would certainly prefer a presidential and vice presidential candidate who had that respect for all innocent precious purposeful human life, Palin said. We need to remember, though, that its not the vice president that would legislate abortion and that would be Congresss role, and well keep that in mind.

Agree with you completely.
>> Palin says Rice’s view on abortion shouldn’t disqualify her as VP
Hell, yes it does.
Nascent human life is killed in the most violent of ways through abortion.
Without Life, there is no Freedom to be had.
I have to laugh at that to keep from crying...
Palin’s thoughts on this should be looked at no differently then Dick Cheney’ view on Gay Marriage. In other words it makes no difference. The VP follows the lead of the President that’s all Sarah Palin is recognizing.
First Santorum says he'll stump for Romndy.
Now this from Palin.
Who's left? God save America.
“I want my donation back.”
Thanks NoLibZone.
Palin: Strike one, supporting Juan McAmnesty in his Senate primary, strike two, supporting Booby Hatch in his primary, and strike three, supporting Condi Rice, pro abortion for VP.
I was watching at the time...
Was not very flattering what she said of Rice...saying basically that she did not have respect for human life.
Was she supposed to trash her on National tv? I think she made her point.
I am dead against Condy for her statement that she is “mildly pro choice” CRAPOLA!!! This makes her unfit for office
Didn’t Romney promise a pro-life veep?
Think about this: Do you really expect a group who’ve disparaged Republican presidents for statements their wives and mothers have made to suddenly become rational and realize that the VP has no bearing on the issue?
Social issues are not a deal-breaker for me either.
Given she considers Trig purposeful, I’d be inclined to a generous interpretation. It’s an adjective she’s using to describe all human life. Occam’s razor. Don’t look below the surface when the surface will do just fine.
But yes, her thoughts about process seem muddled. I’m officially disappointed. BTW, I don’t even care if it was a dem trap. Her words have a large ripple effect, and she should never allow herself to wobble or to even be seen as wobbling on right to life.
And yes, I’m still in favor of the state-level approach, with aid from the federal only to the extent allowed by the Constitution as originally understood. I would love to be able to vote with my feet, but in a full federal superstate, where the genuine freedom afforded by the local governance of individual states is obliterated, the only one with any control is the willing tyrant at the center of the federal web. That is not a winning scenario for us, and I want to win.
Oh no! You’ve got all the concern trolls out of the woodwork to diss Gov Palin.
Now Sarah Palin is a “RINO”!
No wonder we can’t win primaries. Ronald Reagan would not be eligible these days. Only one left now is Jesus Christ himself
Me too!!... shes just short of God now
Would u ever vote for her with all her weakness's?
Adding Rice to the Romney ticket would make a bad situation much worse. Already, we have to hold our noses to vote for him. Who’d feel good about voting for a woman who is pro abortion, pro gay marriage, and most likely voted for Obama? It would be rough.
Besides, she would personify the Bush baggage and that opens up another can of worms.
Alan West is the guy.
is it cold in your cave???..Did u actually here what she said??????????????
Sarah you are just cackling your way into insignificance. Go home to Alaska, shoot a moose, do some fishing, and regroup for a later day.
