Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has reportedly been mentioned as strong a contender for GOP presumptive presidential nominee Mitt Romneys running mate, but Rice told CBS This Morning last month that there was no way she would run for vice president...

I can't think of many that would be dumber that that choice.
Actually, Sarah was circumspect in her praise stating the obvious that Condi had more experience than Obama and would make a better VP than Biden. She did say that she wanted both on the ticket to be pro-life but it is Congress that would legislate any changes in abortion law.
She would’ve been an interesting counter to Hillary after 0bama drops Biden. I’m thinking the VP pick WILL be female, possibly Susan Martinez or Nikki Haley now.. Ryan would be great, as he would be a good ‘attack dog’ in a gentlemanly and intellectual manner.
Mitt is now claiming to be pro-life despite his past record...but conservatives would be even more skeptical of his sincerity on that issue if he picked a pro-abortion VP.
I haven’t read Drudge since he endorsed Romney. He’s lost all credibility for me. Seems like I was correct to do so.
Dr. Rice has administrative, national security, and foreign affairs experience, and her qualifications easily exceed those of any of the three men currently running.
Regardless of how any of us feel about her as a candidate, it’s sad that her race and gender are mentioned before her accomplishments.
PERIOD!
Well said. I just hope the couple of folks that were on here yesterday being a RIce Cheerleader understand this.
We've been dealt a bad hand with the media...but you play the hand you are dealt...and this would play THEIR game.
There is absolutely no upside in digging up an old fossil from the Bush administration. Romney needs to completely separate himself from the Bush years.
How about leaking Dick Cheney's name next? (THAT should drive the media completely bonkers!)
Exactly. Sarah is trying to show the RINOs that she is a team player, and that she will support their people this time. She expects support from them when it’s her turn, but I think it is unlikely she’ll get it. That’s not how they play the game.
If only a mere majority of blacks stay Democrat, that would spell big trouble for the Donkees.
YIPEE!
You’re the one that likes to give our money or materials to places like NK
to not develop weapons, yet they do it anyway and we keep giving, giving, giving.
I'd prefer that Rush, Gov. Palin and Mark Levin were on the SAME page.
She’s been saying this for a long time. But thank goodness Drudge got millions of hits. /s
EXACTLY!...however..if she were to run with Obama, she'd be the Queen of the Media.....such vision, experience and grace....she can even play concert piano!....makes me sick!
“It’s sad that her race and gender are mentioned before her accomplishments”
Well said. I could not agree with you more.
A President and VP don’t have to agree on everything but a VP has to agree to work to enact any initiative the President pushes.
So if Romney picks a pro-life VP it can only mean he will ignore the issue during his term.
Rice would be a much better pick to the majority of Republicans than Palin who are not Freepers (believe it or not). Do it Romney. It would show real guts and I love watching heads explode.
