This is real simple. Is Condi a conservative? Or is she GOP-E?
Is Romney (well, I know it's only rumors for now) going to pick Condi because she's black?......Is Romney planning on pandering?
Or is there a long list of conservative, constitutionalist, limited government positions that Condi holds and I've just forgotten?
NO!! Not even close.
Sanity on a thread full of mind numbed robots applause for u two
I salute yall
If you heard the interview with her that I did, she said she’s never held elective office before, wasn’t qualified, and didn’t want the job.
She wants to be the baseball commissioner.
I wish her well because she’s very qualified for that position.
BTW, this is a distraction, and nothing more.
Dude, check your meds. It was a simple (and rather obvious) joke.
“Southern Democrats were the first to implement Gun Control as a means of disarming the Black Population so they could not defend themselves from the Klan.
Not to change the subject, but today I heard Rush discussing the founding of the NAACP. It was founded by Wealthy White Republicans to organize Blacks against the Democrat Party’s introduction and support of Jim Crow Laws. The first President of the NAACP was a White Republican.”
First, I would appreciate a link to substantiate your first claim. Though you might be right, I’ve not heard that before.
Secondly, you and Rush are right about the NAACP’s founding. It wasn’t just a white Republican who founded it, but the BOD consisted of white Republicans, with the exception of one black member.
Consider too that in the election A.M. (After Mitt) the veep will be the heir apparent to the GOP candidacy. Someone who is not so wishy washy she would vote democrat (like Condi did) is needed.
And it went all to hell sometime between then and now.
“Consider this scenario. A friend of yours is all coy about revealing the name of the candidate they’d voted for in the presidential election. But she opines that “the American people are wise in wanting change”. Then she says that “when the election took place and after the election took place, it was a special time for Americans”.
“WASHINGTON — An emotional Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice reveled Wednesday in Barack Obama’s election, calling it an “extraordinary step forward” for the nation.”

I am not able to post video but an obviously proud and tearful Condi effuses that color no longer is an issue in American politics....ie an African American President has broken the race barrier.
If this isn’t enough for you, I don’t know what is. Color mattered in ‘08. Blacks were swooning over Obama, beside themselves with pride and joy. Was Condi one of the ten percent of African American voters who didn’t?
No I don’t know for sure that she voted for Bam..but if it walks like a duck...
bet on pandering. Romney have a long history of pandering politics.
why would someone who say I’m a Republican not say who they voted for?
Does it matter? People voting Romney have said it doesn’t matter if he is a conservative; he is simply ABO, Anyone But Obama. Therefore, does it matter who he picks? I mean, their vote still goes to him no matter what; ABO.
Per Palin, Rice is pro abortion. So you have a pro-abortion Rice running with pro-abortion Romney.
I think that Condoleezza Rice would be a wonderful vice president, and she certainly has much more experience than our sitting president does today, Palin said during an interview Thursday on the Fox News show The Drudge Report.
I would certainly prefer a presidential and vice presidential candidate who had that respect for all innocent, precious, purposeful human life, and showed that respect by being a pro-life candidate. We need to remember, though, that its not the vice president that would legislate abortion, that would be Congress role, and we will keep that in mind, Palin said.
I don’t know, maybe Romney just likes seeing a bumpers sticker with “Romney/Rice ‘12”. If Rice was the head of the ticket, it would sound a lot like Rice-a-roni. Rice/Romney ‘12.
I don’t think Rice is a conservative so much as a right-leaning establishment politician who is not going to make waves.
Frankly, I don’t trust anybody who was a choice of New World Order globalist sell-out GW Bush. So I would rather not have Rice. That said, I would rather have Rice at the top of this ticket, as I trust Romney far less than Rice.
Pretty much we are screwed.
And even at that, I am still voting for Romney because nothing matters but repealing Obamacare, and that isn’t possible if we don’t remove Obama from office. Romney could pick Al Gore for Veep and I would still vote for him — and then push for a law requiring 100 Secret Service bodyguards at all times!
Rice is a really bad choice, but who cares. The economy has doomed Obama to a one-term wonder and Romney wins by default unless he does something insanely stupid.

Ha! I don’t “do” Google. ;o)
You’re right...but it was so many years ago, why bring that up now?
We are where we are, and I hope it’s better...in fact, I KNOW it’s better...than it was then.
LOL!
I think it’s getting better. ;o)
Now gun control is a color blind curse. I suppose that’s “better”!
So Bing and decide. (Go Bill Gates)
If anything is now color blind, then it’s better.
However, our 2nd amendment rights are sacrosanct.
When asked just months before the election if she was going to vote for Obama, she flatly refused to answer the question. Why?
Because she voted for that Marxist ______!
I sure as hell didnt mind telling people who I was voting for! Did you?
If Romney picks her instead of a good Teaparty conservative, it is done. The race is over! Obama will hand him his ass in November!
After he was elected, she was overcome with emotion, even swept into tears of joy! Why?
Because she must have voted for that Marxist ________, thats the ONLY SOLID EXPLANATION WHY!
Did you have tears of joy?
As reported on the Huff Post:
Rice Congratulates Obama Tearfully, Says She Is Especially Proud Of Obamas Win
Huffington Post An emotional Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice reveled Wednesday in Barack Obamas election, calling it an extraordinary step forward for the nation.
A child of the segregated deep South who became the highest-ranking African-American woman ever in American government and was once considered a potential Republican presidential nominee, Rice called the Democratic president-elect inspirational and said his victory was proof of Americas promise.
This was an exercise in American democracy of which Americans across the political spectrum are justifiably proud, she said.
As an African-American,Im especially proud, said Rice, her eyes glistening with emotion, because this is a country thats been through a long journey,in terms of overcoming wounds and making race less of a factor in life. That work is not done, but yesterday was obviously an extraordinary step forward.
One of the great things about representing this country is that it continues to surprise, she told reporters at the State Department at a hastily arranged briefing just hours before leaving Washington for the Middle East on a peacemaking trip. It continues to renew itself. It continues to beat all odds and expectations.
