The Department of Justice unsealed documents today showing that Brian Terry was shooting bean bags at men who returned fire with assault rifles.

This is neither satire nor "new" news.
I thought the fact the agents were armed with beanbags was already common knowledge. I guess until now it was just a “rumor” that had me fuming.
Shotgun! I had heard this a long time ago and found it believable in this day and time when we “have” to use less than lethal force if at all possible. HUH? AR vs AK and most likely the AK is gonna win out with it’s more powerful cartridge. I say we let these guys on the border use M-14s. I’m pretty sure there are a bunch in a warehouse someplace.

First fired bean bags. That would seem to suggest that they may have switched from using bean bags to using bullets? I don’t know.

I have a half dozen rounds of the 12ga stuff, someone gave me...one day I will have to experiment with the stuff and see what it can do.....set up some ballistic gel(or something) at close range and see it it does anything at all.....unbelievable that it was issued for any purpose other that crowd control

This ain’t ground breaking news. Katie Pavlich in her book Fast and Furious mentions that our guys had to fight with bean bags.
Major Garret interviewed her on CSPAN’s After Words, and he kept peppering her that there were no paper trails with Holder’s signature on them. That was about the only retort he could make against Pavlich’s rapid fire presentation of furious facts. She was great.
I want some reporter to ask Romney if, when he becomes president, will he still pursue Holder? Will he do his job to faithfully execute the laws and bring this criminal to justice?
The Administration doesn’t want to alienate Mexicans who may become Democratic voters some day.

It depends primarily on a heavy dose of luck, some skill and the one that has the superior brain housing group. I’ll take my CAR-15 over an AK any day of the week. The M-14 is a marvelous shooter and there are a great many still in long term storage. Not my top pick for a close-in 10-20 yard quick engagement. I would actually prefer a Thompson, but I will definitely take my CAR-15 (converted).

Probably just stun and bruise. They showed these on a show awhile back (don’t remember what it was). They’re pretty short range. Best guess: 30 yds. max.
