President Obama is obviously panicked. Last month Obama and his supporters spent a lot more than Mitt Romney, but even with that cash advantage and the media on their side, the polls haven't budged. Moreover, the President and his campaign have been running around frantically trying to find something that will stick to Romney, be it provable lies about his outsourcing and outright smears involving offshore accounts. Still, Obama can't get above 47% and Romney hasn't even started campaigning in earnest or spending the $160 million he has on hand.
Today, in yet another desperate attempt to win a news cycle as opposed to do his job and whats best for the country,
Obama will use the high-profile setting of the Rose Garden to call for a huge tax increase on those making $250,000 or more, which will, of course, hit who knows how many small business owners.
Naturally, Obama and his Media Palace Guards will spin today's announcement as a call to keep in place the Bush-era tax cuts for those making under $250,000 a year (a middle class tax cut), but it's really a call to raise taxes on our nation's job creators.

what a retarded idea
$249,999.99 and not one penny more.
Think he will go to Congress and just raise them himself?
well...raising taxes has done wonders for California (extreme sarcasm)
He doesn’t realize this will only make the people who would ALREADY VOTED FOR HIM happy.
That''s really go over great with NYC and NJ people...............
The Great Pretender is also quite the Great Divider. A far cry from Reagan’s, “A rising tide lifts all boats.” Leftist IDIOTS and they never learn. When the rich fare well in American history means other Americans have more opportunities as well.
a huge tax increase on those making $250,000 or more
Read my lips: I will tax you our of existence.
hey, he’s just relying on the “fairness” amendment in the constitution
Y’know, if the GOP actually had a candidate that was worth anything, they’d have this in the bag already.
I like Libs who post on the Boston Herald web-page how good things were when we had the90% Top Marginal tax rate. Yeah, well that was before the Welfare State and actually NOBODY payed it.
This is nothing new. House Republicans can just pass a bill extending them all again and send it to the Senate.
They don't expire until December or January anyway.
So all political theatre, the GOP house were going to send a bill anyway to extend Bush tax cuts, Obama just wants to try and to steal the limelight and take credit for it.
Obama issued no veto threat on a full extension of the cuts, so there you have it.
This is another diversion from the fact that the Middle Class will also take a huge tax hit from TaxOcare. Everyone gets taxed except the non producers. The Demonrats should change their name to DemonTAXers just to give truth in advertising.
“That’’s really go over great with NYC and NJ people...............”
Don’t underestimate the power of fear - the fear of being labeled a racist. In liberalland political correctness trumps higher taxes.
Looking at the $250k limit, I see a lot of people that could easily hit that mark. A couple like a teacher and a fireman or cop could easily be taxed into voting against the Obamateur.
Once inside the voting booth, no one knows who you voted for.................
Even a little Mom & Pop business might easily show a business income of over $250,000 and file that on the owner’s personal income tax. However, that is a lot different than having a $250,000 salary working for someone else. I am certain that many farms, ranches, restaurants, bars, grocery stores and other often family owned, small businesses will bear the brunt of Obama’s tax increase not the millionaires.
0bama will lose bigtime by sticking to this demonize the wealthy and rich by hitting them up with tax increases. This will only lead to higher unemployment and lower revenues to the feds. He wants this as he continues to recklessly spend our tax dollars and those of the next couple generations.
Don’t voter for 0bama in 2012!
