Two-thirds of likely voters say President Obama has kept his 2008 campaign promise to change America — but it’s changed for the worse, according to a sizable majority.
A new poll for The Hill found 56 percent of likely voters believe Obama’s first term has transformed the nation in a negative way, compared to 35 percent who believe the country has changed for the better under his leadership.

Lots of hand wringing on this thread that Romney isn’t going after Obamugabe enough...
But Obamugabe is not popular, and Romney is not being dumb to wait a bit...look, the campaign really doesn’t begin until after Labor Day, and Obamugabe is NOT in good shape.

Interestingly, those horrible results come from a reasonably weighted sample:
Total LV’s
Republican 35%
Democrat 34%
Other 31%
That means if every single Democrat loved 0bama, then the “Others” are breaking nearly 100% against him. Yikes! :-)
They didn’t poll zombo-Americans, a constituency that never dies.
Good stuff and exactly right IMO. No POTUS has been re-elected with these numbers. And the 5 million vote margin Obama will get over Romney in New York and California aren’t going to mean squat electorally.
I have yet to meet a McCain voter who will vote for Obama this time but I’ve met many Obama voters who won’t vote for him again. I think Romney wins handily if the election were today.

I could only HOPE this poll would predict the outcome on Election Day so that we can CHANGE for the better.
But, if enough of the disgruntled vote for someone other than the R candidate, we'll have 4 more years of Chairman 0baMao (this time, unconcerned about re-election). And, if we think the SCOTUS is screwed up now, ...!
