Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, D-Fla. Says she is pretty happy with the ongoing economic recovery according to a report by The Examiner, published Sunday, July 8.
Wasserman-Shultz, the Florida Democrat who chairs the Democratic National Committee (DNC), quickly became the butt of political jokes as some Republicans suggested shes been on "Mars," or a fantasy land.
I am pretty happy about straight 28 months of job growth in the private sector, Wasserman-Schultz said on Fox News Sunday when asked about the latest jobs report showing 8.2 percent unemployment nationally and 80,000 jobs created. Wasserman-Shultzs comments came after a string of dismal job reports that has the Obama campaign playing defense. President Obama himself was ridiculed recently in similar fashion after saying the "private sector was doing fine."
Mr. Obama walked his statement back, later saying the private sector "certainly isn't doing fine," but Wasserman Shultz may have reignited that political firestorm, at least in Florida.

Anvils stay steady.
Hope and Change continues to drop.
Just when you thought you were safe, Debbie Syphilis-Test comes back to life and it is not a bad dream! I thought that they had fired her or that she had taken an extended absence for face and brain transplants. Sorta like the zombies that just won’t stay dead.
She is truly the gift that keeps on giving. We need to encourage her to talk more between now and November.
And...just think...all of this goodness for just several Trillion dollars...I mean what a bargain./s
Sgt. Schultz owned a toy factory in civilian life, IIRC. Debbie has two full-time, high-paying jobs, of course she’s happy!
“What about heavy industry? How are anvils doing?”
The Chinese are making them, and Harbor Freight is selling them over here.
“Stupid, loud, and obnoxious is no way to go through life, Wasserman/Shultz.”
Generations of Yentas disagree.
Yes, that hyphenated surname style (outside of Spanish speaking countries where it is an old tradition) was something popularized by the bra-burning feminists of the 1970s. Although "Wasserman Schultz" is generally not spelled with a hyphen, I'd intuit that she and her "progressive" husband thought that the double surname thing was chic.
If we’ve enjoyed 28 straight months of private sector job growth, then why has the unemployment rate stayed above 8%? Just curious...
Freedom Is Slavery
We have always been at war with Eurasia
There have been 28 straight months of private sector job growth
Straight from the Ministry of Truth.
Well she’s partially right - I hear that permits to sell apples on street corners have risen steadily since BO was elected.
Give her some credit ;)
Thanks for the ping!
Based on the Bureau of Labor Statistics web page, there has been an increase in jobs every month for the last 20 months. Not 28, as DBS says. Just another typical, ignorant (or lying) Democrat.
I got a campaign donation request today from a woman running against Wasserman.....does anyone know anything about her?....can’t even recall her name...
