We need the 2010 tea party sweeps to continue in 2012 and beyond!! We need to increase the conservative majority in the house, take the majority in the senate and continue sweeping conservatives into as many state and local offices as we possibly can all across this great land!! No matter who wins the presidency, we're going to need the states and the people and FR to hold their feet to the fire!!
Block the feds!! Demand our states reassert their tenth amendment rights and powers and push the feds the hell OUT of our state and local business!! And it's way past time to impeach/recall/expel the corrupt usurping bastards at all levels of government including any corrupt constitution trampling judges and justices!! With conservative majorities in the congress and state legislatures, we can get it done and get our government back under OUR control!!
We the people are the sovereigns!! We the people formed our states and then established the federal government and granted it certain enumerated and severely restricted powers, reserving all others to our states and ourselves. We do not grant our consent to usurping tyrannical central government!!
And YES we CAN do it overnight and in ONE election cycle. Damn the naysayers and nattering nabobs of negativity!! Full steam ahead!!
I can see November from my house!! Vote straight conservative!! It's all about turnout so get your entire family, your friends, neighbors and co-workers to vote straight conservative!! No pussyfooting around. Just round 'em up and turn 'em OUT!!
And now this from (or is it to) our sponsors:
If you enjoy reading and participating on FR and if YOU think it's a worthwhile endeavor and YOU would like to help us keep it going, please click the link above and donate via secure server. Make it a monthly if you can.
Or mail your checks to Free Republic, LLC - PO Box 9771 - Fresno, CA 93794.
Free Republic is funded solely by contributions made by liberty loving grassroots conservatives like you who enjoy and use it. We take no money from and are not beholden to outsiders or corporate string pullers or party king makers. Help keep FR independent and commercial-free!!
New Monthly Donor Campaign:
We currently have some very generous FReeper sponsors who are kicking in an additional $10.00 per each new monthly donor, so this is a great way to get a little extra bang for your buck and to help future FReepathons run a little faster.
And FR does delivers a BIG bang for your buck!! Each dollar donated delivers thousands of pages of corruption-exposing/liberty-advancing grassroots conservative information to thousands of liberty-loving readers all across the great fruited plains and around the globe. The sun never sets on Free Republic!!
FR costs: Approx $0.001 per page delivered (that's one tenth of one cent per page!).
FR benefit: Priceless!!
Thank you all very much!!
Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God.
We are the resistance!!
Prayers up for our Liberty and our beloved Republic!!
And it is a Republic, if we can keep it!!
God bless.

"Illinois is the 25th most extensive and the 5th most populous of the 50 United States, and is often noted as a microcosm of the entire country. With Chicago in the northeast, small industrial cities and great agricultural productivity in central and northern Illinois, and natural resources like coal, timber, and petroleum in the south, Illinois has a broad economic base. Illinois is a major transportation hub.
The Port of Chicago connects the state to other global ports from the Great Lakes, via the Saint Lawrence Seaway, to the Atlantic Ocean; as well as the Great Lakes to the Mississippi River, via the Illinois River. For decades, O'Hare International Airport has ranked as one of the world's busiest airports. Illinois has long had a reputation as a bellwether both in social and cultural terms and politics."

Since FR is free already and hasn’t helped the conservative cause in years, I think I’ll change tactics this year and donate to down ballot conservatives.

"Alaska is the largest state in the United States by area. It is situated in the northwest extremity of the North American continent, with Canada to the east, the Arctic Ocean to the north, and the Pacific Ocean to the west and south, with Russia further west across the Bering Strait. Alaska is the 4th least populous and the least densely populated of the 50 United States. Approximately half of Alaska's 722,718 residents live within the Anchorage metropolitan area.
Alaska was purchased from Russia on March 30, 1867, for $7.2 million at approximately two cents per acre ($4.74/km²). The land went through several administrative changes before becoming an organized (or incorporated) territory on May 11, 1912, and the 49th state of the U.S. on January 3, 1959.
The name "Alaska" (Аляска) was already introduced in the Russian colonial period, when it was used only for the peninsula and is derived from the Aleut alaxsxaq, meaning "the mainland" or, more literally, "the object towards which the action of the sea is directed". It is also known as Alyeska, the "great land", an Aleut word derived from the same root. "

"Oregon is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is located on the Pacific coast, with Washington to the north, California to the south, Nevada on the southeast and Idaho to the east. The Columbia and Snake rivers delineate much of Oregon's northern and eastern boundaries, respectively. The area was inhabited by many indigenous tribes before the arrival of traders, explorers, and settlers who formed an autonomous government in Oregon Country in 1843. The Oregon Territory was created in 1848, and Oregon became the 33rd state on February 14, 1859.
Oregon is the 9th most extensive and the 27th most populous of the 50 United States. Salem is the state's capital and third-most-populous city; Portland is the most populous. Portland is the 29th-largest U.S. city, with a population of 583,776 (2010 US Census) and a metro population of 2,241,841 (2009 estimate), the 23rd-largest U.S. metro area. The valley of the Willamette River in western Oregon is the state's most densely populated area and is home to eight of the ten most populous cities."source: Wikipedia

"New Mexico is a state located in the southwest and western regions of the United States. New Mexico is also usually considered one of the Mountain States. New Mexico is the 5th most extensive, the 36th most populous, and the 6th least densely populated of the 50 United States.
Inhabited by Indigenous peoples of the Americas populations for many centuries, New Mexico has also been part of the Imperial Spanish viceroyalty of New Spain, part of Mexico, and a U.S. territory. Among U.S. states, New Mexico has the highest percentage of Hispanics, including descendants of Spanish colonists and recent immigrants from Latin America. It also has the second-highest percentage of Indigenous peoples of the Americas, after Alaska, and the fourth-highest total number of Indigenous peoples of the Americas after California, Oklahoma, and Arizona.
The tribes in the state consist of mostly Navajo and Pueblo peoples. As a result, the demographics and culture of the state are unique for their strong Hispanic and Native-American influences. The flag of New Mexico is represented by the red and gold colors, which represent Spain, as well as the Zia symbol, an ancient symbol for the sun of that Pueblo-related tribe."source: Wikipedia
