Complete Headline: Whatever happened to Camelot? Dishevelled Kennedy clan look less than picture-perfect celebrating Fourth of July on Cape Cod
The Kennedy clan congregated at their Cape Cod estate for a July Fourth family celebration of patriotic proportions.
Participating in a village parade at Hyannisport, where the family's waterfront compound resides, numerous Kennedys dressed up in stars and stripes, wigs and comical presidential-style hats to celebrate Independence Day with vigor.
But the golden era of America's great political dynasty seems to be a distant memory; decades on, the family far from resembles the sartorially picture-perfect images of Jackie and JFK vacationing in the very same Massachusetts spot.

Ted Kennedy Jr. ... Ethel Kennedy

Actually the clan looks as good as ever ... especially considering all the time they've spent in rehab!
Camelot fell apart when the moral decay finally caught up. Similaritiy?
Absolutely nothing "happened" to it because it never existed. It was all media-created BS to be shoveled down the throats of the public.
Of course, my Lib extended family members still get all misty-eyed and nostalgic over "Crapalot".
I’m betting that Teddy looks a bit thinner these days.
Yes even liberal progressives suffer the wrath of thier own beliefs. This is a good thing. So called “Camelot” lived and died with JFK, the the media and adoring fans needed the fantasy to continue. Todays Kennedy camelot is compared to the local circus coming to town.
What happened? Reality!
ARROGANCE leads to all of the other problems, especially morality.
I bet the fat is just falling/burning off Teddy.
JFK had his yacht to sail, Odungo has AF One. JFK liked the Oval Office, Odungo can’t stand it. Kennedy used golf as a way to make deals, Odungo uses golf as a way to escape. Kennedy could speak at the drop of a hat, Odungo needs six speech writers, two teleprompters and a captured, or bussed in audience with free box lunch and SEIU promised “paid” day off.
Rich bootlegging bums is all they ever were.
Even the best PR campaign can do only so much...
“Alcohol. It’s one helluva’ drug!”
Ted Kennedy alcohol free for TWO years!
This is what happens when the press gloss over
the truth to favor their candidate. Eventually
time and truth expose the whole rotten lie, and
it works both ways too. GWB will continue to look
better and better as history reveals the reality
of his presidency.
One can’t even imagine what history will show us
about the WON.
One puppet assuring the other puppet if his strings are handled right he will be able to reduce concerns and make it easier for his puppet master to deal with radical Islamist
Good riddance.
Camelot was a product of an America largely limited to the narrative created by the 3 broadcast networks - ABCCBSNBC. It was a lie from the beginning.
Truth is, the Kennedy fortune was made by bootlegging during prohibition. JFK was a serial adulterer, a coward that abandoned the Bay of Pigs invaders & barely avoided a nuclear war with the USSR. His brother was a drunken murderer. His nephew a rapist. Another nephew has recently abandoned he mentally ill wife, leaving her impoverished, to date an actress. The poor woman committed suicide.
Without all that bootlegging money, the Kennedys would have been low class tenement trash. As it is, they are still low class trash.
Kennedy also hated Marxism, and spoke about the American philosophy of how American’s rights come from God in his inaugural address.
I tell libs that today Kennedy might even be considered a Republican, it drives them crazy to hear that.
Were they trying to have a Tea Party?
Remember when the media was trashing Tea Partiers for donning colonial garb - even Glenn Beck joined in.
Alcohol. Its one helluva drug!
Or as Homer Simpson observed:
“Alcohol - the solution to, and cause of all of life’s problems”
The assumption is fallacious....... Camelot never really existed.
Camelot was a Presstitute fiction
