“We will have to drag Romney into appointing Justices akin to Thomas, who in turn will give Quisling Roberts little choice but to do his constitutional job for a change.”

Can’t argue with that but, you might want to first convince mitt to change his website, which currently STILL enforces Injustice Roberts.

http://www.mittromney.com/issues/courts-constitution

Frankly I am astonished this has not been taken down, if mitt has any desire to harnest the anger and sense of betrayal of conservatives. He needs to speak out against John Roberts not endorse him on his campaign site.

Someone should call the Mitt Campaign, before the Democrats get a hold of this.

“Roberts is right because that taxing authority is Constitutional”

And so is the condition of all revenue bills originating in the House. This tax bill originated in the Senate violating the Constitution.

So, yes, if the Congress wants to tax the people to provide socialized medicine, they can, since they are elected by the people to make tax laws. Roberts is right because that taxing authority is Constitutional. Don’t like it? Vote them out!

Except that the Constitution prohibits the federal government from imposing a direct tax on citizens, other than an income tax. This "mandate tax" is not tied to income in any way, and thus is illegal, or would be, if our "Living Constitution" (Orwellian Newspeak for "Dying Constitution") hadn't replaced the one that was the only legal Supreme Law of the Land.

“defied by politicians who want the power to decide who lives and who dies”

Now, we’re an entire country’s worth of a concentration camp, working ourselves to puddles for our overlords and their hangers-on, surrogates and ne-er-do-wells.

Meanwhile, we’ll have our health “care”-fully degraded, depending on whether we voted for 0bama, Reid, Pelosi and the communists.

Once they kill us off, though, somebody’s still going to have to pay, so I wonder what suckers they think they’ll find then.

There are many who thou either indoctrinal faith, or fear of state & ciaos who feel as thou the Federal employees in black robes are the supreme dictators of truth & fact.

Such an idea as we both know comes at the expense of not only reason, but now liberty as well. No man or group of men can have such unquestionable athoirty over other men. At some level there must be consent of the governed.

“Your foolish post hurts all opponents of Obamacare, and damages FR.”

How many times do I have to hear this sort of drivel???

Please return you head to it’s cool dark hole in the sand.

Thank you for laying it out so well.

The truth hurts and the truth is this:

The GOP campaign on this stuff, but the leadership of the GOP is composed of pussies. Plain and simply, they’re pussies.

These idiots, like Boehner et al, don’t want to do the work required to mount a successful legislative campaign for what we want. They want to be invited to parties, golf outings, etc with liberals in the mosquito-infested swamp that is DC.

The first, biggest problem of the GOP is that they don’t understand that for many of us, we don’t want government to “function more efficiently,” we want it out of our lives. They *claim* they understand this sentiment, but their actions speak otherwise. They don’t really understand what people want.
