Always classy, Obama himself has already tweeted, "Still a BFD."
...the Supreme Court declared the mandate a tax... Remember, he said that "no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase."
Instead, ObamaCare is the largest tax increase in the history of the nation...and it is a regressive tax. After all, the 1% of Americans he rails against religiously already have health insurance. Guess what: much of the burden of the cost of this legislation will be borne by families making less than $250,000...
In the coming months, many people will begin to realize how much the survival of ObamaCare will cost them in additional taxes and higher insurance premiums. All the Supreme Court has done, in upholding the president's destruction of medical care in America, is give another 100 million people a reason to despise Barack Obama and all he stands for. Obama may claim to care, but I suspect that the American electorate on November 6 will come out in force to show the president and the world how much they actually care for him.
Another point has gone unmentioned. After Ted Kennedy joined Mary Joe Kopechne in the afterlife, the ACA was passed with 51 votes in the Senate using reconciliation. Reconciliation is a process restricting use of the filibuster with respect to legislation related to budget matters. The mandate, now labeled a tax, is a revenue item that can be repealed with the same 51 votes. The filibuster-proof 60 votes needed for repeal before the decision are no longer required...

Wonder if the ignoramuses in our universities, that includes both students and professors, have figured out that they will be the ones paying much more for insurance throughout their lives because of ObamaCare? The younger you are, the steeper the price hike.
BO knows his base, all right. None of them are too bright in math.
This is what i was talking about last night. Why don’t the repubs start repeal immediately? Why wait until November election? There are 14 senate demos in trouble for reelection. All we need is 4 of them. Make them vote on this again.! Tie it around their necks before the election!
Have a great weekend!

They are going to bring it up for repeal again. I believe I heard July 11th.
The House has already schedule a vote, I think. Republicans in the Senate cannot do much if Reid doesn’t want to hold a vote.
Patience, patience.
And remember, all politics is local.
Hard to be patient when you’re raging angry.
What worries me more than the cost of insurance is the deteriorating care we’ll end up with. This will cost many lives if we don’t somehow get rid of it.
This election will be a war between a divided people like we’ve never seen - just the way the communists want it. We’re going to have to get down in the mud with the pigs.
Not in this case. All politics is now Chicago.
And part of that is, we have to keep our eye on the enemy, and his paymasters.
They begin after the July 4th recess, a vote is already scheduled in the House for July 11th.
That explains the deep dish.
Now we can just changed that: “BFD” to” “BFT”, Big Flippin’ Tax”!
I thought I read that Cantor had a vote scheduled for repeal. It has no chance of passing, but it’ll put the left on (recent) record as to their desire for this HUGE tax increase on the American people.
I see one of your links is about religious freedom. Wasn’t that one of the reasons this went to the Supreme Court in the first place.
In none of the reviews that I have read so far, do I see anything mentioned about the threat to religious freedom.
I hope the Bishops and vatious Catholic organizations keep their lawsuits active — I have not seen anything that would indicate that their lawsuits are being withdrawn.
Coverage is by partisan media shills, so there won’t be much more of that angle than there is about Fast and Furious.
:’)
Given the way in which the bill was passed, It's highly debatable whether or not filibuster (requiring 60 votes to break) is a problem with repeal.
