The one-time president of a prominent abortion-right group was sued Friday by the New York Attorney General’s office for using charity funds for designer shopping sprees, a five-bedroom house rental in the Hamptons and transporting her children to and from school.
The office of state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman filed a civil suit in Manhattan that accuses former NARAL Pro-Choice New York president Kelli Conlin of using more than $250,000 in charity funds during her tenure to for her own benefit, despite a compensation package that reached $380,000 in 2010....

You read stories of embezzlements like this and wonder how they ever went unnoticed. In this case it was a nefarious organization, but it happens to regular businesses too.

She was convicted of a felony for “falsifying business records” and ordered to make reimbursement of %75,000 with NO JAIL TIME and NO PROBATION. Apparently her fingers stuck to $250,000. This means that Cyrus Vance, leftist prosecutor of Manhattan, who is bragging about holding her “accountable” gave her a discount of nearly 70% on her thefts and NO JAIL TIME and NO PROBATION. If she had been a book-keeper at a department store and stole $250,000, she would be spending ten years in the state hotel and ordered to repay (at minimum) every nickel with interest.
If you are willing to kill babies then stealing would hardly seem to be a crime of any consequence.
