Any decrease in turnout in a state like N. Car. or Va. makes defeating Obama in the Electoral College that more difficult. Plus they can create a shadow group to sponsor the ad without even mentioning Obama or the dems.

Trust me; you will not have to worry about a low-turnout on our side. I’ve never seen people so angry and so fired up about defeating Obama. There will be a low turn-out for the Dems though; guaranteed. There will be 2 million less Blacks voting this time than in ‘08. (Remember; you heard that first from me.) Also, many who supported him last time are so disappointed and disillusioned, that this time they might not vote for Romney but, they’ll stay home.
Speaking of the Electoral College:
Don’t forget folks; since Obama was elected in ‘08, the Blue (Dem) States lost 11 Electoral Votes to the Red (Pubbie) States after the 2010 Census. Now, that’s a net gain of 22 EVs for the GOP. If we both have 20 apples and I take 11 from your pile and put them in my pile, I now have 31 and you have 9..... a net gain for me of 22. In a close Election, 22 EVs is a whole heck of a lot.
I say this year we take these States back from the Blue Column (2008) and they will be in the Red Column in 2012:
VA, NC, FL, IN, and IA. And........We might also take back OH, WI and MI.
Now, we’re talking, not a landslide, but a big friggin’ win for our team. And a lot of Senate and House Seats will come along on the coattails.
