Great patriotism.
orthopedist dr. bone! lol and salute.
Wonderful story. Thanks for the link.
Not to take away form his patriotism, but he’d probably be better off at a larger surgical base in germany, where they shuttle wounded to for more intensive surgeries anyway. They need combat medical surgeons to patch them up and get them to these guys for the more specialized surgeries they’re going to need anyway.
Best of luck,Doctor....you’re an exceptional man.
They need surgeons of all kinds there. They need orthopedic surgeons for traumatic amputation victims.
I worked in a major hospital for many years and during my tenure there I came across an orthopedic surgeon named Fingeroff,a urologist named Waters and a Doctor Couch (who wasn't a psychiatrist).
Ha! I got him beat. As an army flight surgeon I spent my 69th birthday flying over Baghdad in a Blackhawk. (summer of 2004) :-)
I admire America’s flexibility when it comes to recruiting soldiers. In Britain, if you’re older than 32, you aren’t allowed to join the military as a new recruit, and you aren’t allowed to stay beyond the age of 55. As far as I’m aware, there are no exceptions to this...
An ortho surgeon named Bone ... love it! (And thank you for your service, sir!)
bump
I know a urologist in East Texas named Dickout. I shit you not.
