Mitt Romney's presidential campaign has raised $4.2 million since the Supreme Court ruled the healthcare reform legislation constitutional, his press secretary reported in a tweet on Friday morning.
Romney responded to the ruling by renewing his pledge to repeal the Affordable Care Act known as "Obamacare."
He wrote in a fundraising email to supporters on Thursday: "Today, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. But regardless of what the Court said about the constitutionality of the law, Obamacare is bad medicine, it is bad policy, and when Im President, the bad news of Obamacare will be over."
The Supreme Court's ruling was a clear win for President Obama, who counts the healthcare bill as a signature achievement of his first term. But Romney and other Republicans made clear they would not give up the fight to repeal what they call a government takeover of healthcare.
Romney's campaign had raised $2.5 million by 1:33 p.m. Thursday.

Then, please get out of the way...We The People will go on and win this war. And we will do it without you.
See my #113 post.
Yes, let's hope that TX and the USA do the right thing this November...it's do or die for our Republic. Romney or bust.
I urge ALL Texans to contact Gov. Perry and ask that TX NOT implement this HC joke, ala Gov. Scott Walker. Enough is enough!
Seriously? Nineveh, Nineveh, Nineveh.! Look at the voting record of Romney and Obama. The choice is anti-Christ or anti-Christ lite!
You can spout your “I’m a marter and all alone” God stuff all you want. The truth is that you’ve surrendered. Fortunately, there are millions of believers who still have the will to go into battle for this nation.
You aren’t alone in being tired of the lies and games. We all are, but the men at the battle of the bulge were tired, hungry, and cold. They fought on, without victory in sight. But they won.
Sorry you dont know Him like I do.
What arrogance!
I know how you feel Pops88. I’ve been with you since the primary started.
That said, I know for sure what we are going to get with Obama, and at least with Mitt we have a chance to get someone decent on the court.
I’m well aware of his appointments as governor, but you and I both know his appointments to SCOTUS will be a whole new ball game.
I won’t shame anyone for their choice here, but I’m going to hold my nose and vote against Obama. God bless you my FRiend.
Sorry you dont know Him like I do.

No arrogance like religious arrogance...”
Pops does seem to be full of his view of himself as THE man of God and all alone. All he really is, is a quitter.
I can’t remember his name, but there was a prophet in the bible who ran and hide in a caves, believing he was the last man of God. God then told him he was wrong. There were thousands who hadn’t bent their knee to ba’al.
Sound like anyone we know? But I wouldn’t compared him to a biblical prophet.
Ok, I lol'd.
No, but you'd need cloture for a direct repeal. But even without that, you can defund it, defang it, and of course, Mittens has promised a general waiver as his first act as President.
Which is interesting because it presumes people could retain Bobocare. And some probably will.
YES!!
Far different when something is done at the state level from the national.
“God helps those who help themselves.
Please site scripture and verse where that is in the bible. I like to keep informed.”
I’ve never seen it say that but it is implied.
Remember when God parced thousands of troops down to three hundred. He gave them victory with ease, but they still had to charge the enemy.
Let me just jump in with my overpriced 2 cents worth.
Look at the account of Joshua crossing the Jordan. I remember a sermon years ago about this and the main point was that Joshua and the priests had to physically “commit”, in faith, to the task of crossing swollen/flooded river before God acted.
There are other accounts like this but this just came off the top of my head.
Blessings and have a great day.
And it shows, maam.
Don't let your pride cause you to refrain.. Let your pride BOOT the jackazz OUT OF OFFICE.
If waivers were legal for Obama, they are legal for Romney.
Savage talked about this last nite
Funny you should mention Nineveh. If you read the 4th chapter of Jonah, he basically went into a tantrum because God didn’t act the way that Jonah thought he should act. God causes a shade plant to grow to protect Jonah, and then a worm comes and kills the plant. God teaches Jonah the lesson that God is sovereign, will act how he chooses to save whom he chooses.
I wonder if we can’t apply that lesson here. Mitt Romney is not the way I hoped that our country would be fixed. I’m not happy about it. When it was clear he would get the nomination, whale vomit wasn’t far from my mind. But I’m not going to go sit on the beach and pout and say I wont accept it because its not how I thought it would happen. Not because I dont have faith...but because I do. The Bible that you and I read is FULL of God using absolute pagans to achieve his purposes (Ba’alam, Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus just to name a few). I certainly believe he can use Mitt Romney. (not that I’m equating Romney with a pagan, but just making the point that God can and has used FAR worse men).
Having faith in God doesn’t mean I have to sit on my hands, or wait for the perfect guy to appear. It means having faith that if I do my best with the choices I’m given, I can trust God is for me, not against me, and will work things for my good.
