Mitt Romney's presidential campaign has raised $4.2 million since the Supreme Court ruled the healthcare reform legislation constitutional, his press secretary reported in a tweet on Friday morning.
Romney responded to the ruling by renewing his pledge to repeal the Affordable Care Act known as "Obamacare."
He wrote in a fundraising email to supporters on Thursday: "Today, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. But regardless of what the Court said about the constitutionality of the law, Obamacare is bad medicine, it is bad policy, and when Im President, the bad news of Obamacare will be over."
The Supreme Court's ruling was a clear win for President Obama, who counts the healthcare bill as a signature achievement of his first term. But Romney and other Republicans made clear they would not give up the fight to repeal what they call a government takeover of healthcare.
Romney's campaign had raised $2.5 million by 1:33 p.m. Thursday.

Who knew Obama was good at raising cash for the GOP.
Keep it going folks, lets bring the trash down.
I’m sorry but I won’t send the RINO a dime. At the same time I’m glad others are. I’m conflicted.
I’ve got better things to do with money.
GOP 2012 BATTLE CRY: On June 28, 2012, they shoved ObamaCare down our throat. On November 6, 2012, were gonna shove it up their ass.
Like pay Obama’s taxes?
Send it to a Senator...
51 Senators & Romney... Full repeal at first budget.
I can only scratch my head and ask how I can believe him when he gave Massachusetts Romney Care. “So you were for it before you were against it...?” I’m a pilot. I know a windsock when I see one.
I wonder how much money Obastard raised in those 20 hours.
fact of the matter is Obama must be gotten rid of, Romney is not perfect by hell, he’s a million step up from the usurper in there at the moment.
Boils down to, who would you prefer, Romney or Obama, right now, Obama has to be gotten rid of, at least Romney can be worked with and held to account by a gop senate and gop house, Obama let loose with 4 more years of unchecked laws and no re-election to hold him back will be more painful than any of us can imagine.
From which country?
I tried to donate yesterday but the Romney website would not accept credit cards with dates of 2011 which mine is.

I don’t have extra right now, but when I do, the TEA party will get it. I wonder how much the tea party groups made yesterday? Bet it is big.
It's telling that Mr. "I have a bracelet too" isn't trumpeting a figure.
On the other hand, I don't believe most of Obama's money is "raised" so much as "funneled"....one generally doesn't crow about that.
Good point.I’m hoping this heathcare mess will further diminish his cash.
Me too.
I cannot envision myself voting for Romney in November.
Yet unlike the many RDS sufferers on this site, I am increasingly comfortable with the idea of Romney stomping Obama into the dust.
i bet its donations all round.
Regardless of what anyone thinks, Obama must be gotten rid off, i do not want 4 more years of him writing executive orders like he was handing out sweets to kids because you know thats exactly what he will be doing. The “dream act EO” is an example of what he will do for the next four years, make no mistake about it.
TEA PARTY just got it’s meat.... the BIGGEST tax deserves to be pummeled!
I hope the GOP do an ad like the dems did on Bush senior “read his lips, no new taxes” followed with a great big Obamacare flash.
yes, we will need to SAVE every dime to pay the taxes that are sure to come as the tax floodgates have now opened.
Thank you Roberts!
what an a-hole
