FUSP.
This was a horrible, horrible, horrible ruling, and she’s cheerleading for it?
Where’s the barf alert?
As always, Sarah cuts to the chase and gets it right.
Nobody can state the obvious with quite as much obviousness in the statement.
Today, the Supreme Court issued their ruling on Obamacare. In November, We the People will issue ours.
May G-D Grant us the courage to what is right.
Go away Sarah.
Peaceful means of redress don’t work as today amply proves.
Wow. The spin is amazing. I understand trying to keep a “stiff upper lip,” and all that, but.... This monstrosity will not be repealed. It will simply be tweaked (maybe). Who really has ANY kind of faith in ANY of the branches of government now?? They have ALL failed us. At just about every turn. I’ll tell you one thing: Every single member of the House and the Senate should be fearful of the backlash from this.
“This Obamacare ruling fires up the troops as Americas eyes are opened!”
####
If we have had to progress THIS far along the downward spiral to FINALLY be “fired up”, we are truly a nation of dead-assed, complacent cowards, not deserving of the magnificent framework of clearly proscribed (highly limited) governmental powers gifted us by the Founders.
Why in the HE double hockey sticks did you NOT run, Sarah???? I’m still p*ssed at that!!!!!
Nonsense. It’s a DEFEAT.
The statists and Marxists will not be deterred. It’s full steam ahead.
Romney won’t do crap on a repeal - mark my words
Time for a TEA Party Fourth of July.
Locate your local TEA Party group and GO!
.
We shall remember in November!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing takes the place of a properly elected firm majority in the Congress.
With the increasing dependance of a significant part of the voting population, we have little time to see if such can work its magic.
The painful experience is that the elected legislator has little stomach to stand up to the media and the sorts of fire storm it generates with all of academia behind it. Sarah leaving the Governor’s seat was an example of that issue — it was impossible for her (or anyone) to do the job she was elected to do.
We will not take this thing lying down.
I would like to ask a minor question:
How is it that when the Court votes against Obama, the Court is irrelevant, but, when the Court votes in Obama's favor, Obama is somehow completely vindicated by an "irrelevant" Court?
Sarah, it does not matter if we get fired up. It does not matter if we elect Republicans en-masse to the Senate and Congress, and take the White House too.
The fact is, that the SCOTUS has just ruled that it is permissible to force a US citizen to buy a product or service, or face a fine. This will eventually result in Government-decreed cars, Government-decreed food, and even Government-decreed books. This flies in the face of everything that it is to be a free American.
Party control waxes. Party control wanes. But SCOTUS rulings take decades to reverse, on the rare occasions they are reversed at all. All it takes is one bad election, and the government can now decree we must own certain products and services.
Sarah, there is no silver lining here.
Love,
Laz
1. The ruling is incorrect. The law is unconstitutional. As currently regulated, free abortifacients for everybody.
2. There is no pony under the pile of poop.
Does obama have photo of Roberts screwing a goat on the steps of the Supreme Court? Or, is he simply a liberal? Or both.
Not only can I see November from my house, now I can TASTE it!!
Going to be a very. Long. HOT. Summer.
There is a reason Palin is currently unemployed and attended so many schools just to get a BA. She does not seem to have a clue on the political realities as opposed to rhetoric (no question she excels in the latter). Nice spin, but reality is quite different.
Obamacare will never be repealed because you cannot get 60 votes in the Senate. The only way to reverse obamacare is to defund the DHS, IRS and other agencies specifically assigned with implementation. I am very pessimistic as I have yet to see the GOP Congress or President have the cojones to defund any agency in this manner, with the rare and narrow exception of NIH gun control studies (and there was strong bi-partisan support for that).
Obamacare is now unfortunately here to stay - the question is not whether to end it but how to mend it so as to do the least damage and reduce the absurd cost. More likely the trajectory will take us into socialized medicine. A sad day in America and for those who love freedom everywhere.
If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin. Samuel Adams, 1776
