Most voters still want an immigration law like Arizona’s in their own state and hope the U.S. Supreme Court upholds the legality of the Arizona law this week. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 55% of Likely U.S. Voters would like to see the Supreme Court uphold the law that Arizona adopted to reduce illegal immigration in the state. Just 26% would like to see the high court overturn the law. Nineteen percent (19%) are undecided.

One of our local channels yesterday showed poll results with about 75% supporting checks to ensure people are here legally; here in NJ it is easy for Americans to see how the “replacement Americans” are taking over, and the Americans aren’t liking it.
Well, geez! Now’s a fine time.
I don’t understand whats so hard, we have to do everything in our lives legal, why the hell do they get a pass, i sincerely hope if we can take the WH, house and Senate in Nov, the GOP just pass sweeping immigration laws and throw it in the Dems faces.

Here in northern NJ it is very easy to see how illegal immigrants are much more damaging than any “benefits” of having them here. Our local emergency room has closed due to being forced to provide free care for them; Americans have been shut out of many job sectors, especially construction-related fields and any work previously done by teens. Their anchor babies are in the schools, which has stopped any attempt at filtering out non-legit students in the interests of the teachers’ union (who would rather have anyone in the seats than lose jobs, regardless of whether or not they are part of the tax structure by which our schools are funded).
I think illegal immigration would be a winning issue for the Republicans if they have the testosterone to use it; average Americans of all colors can see that it is killing Americans economically.
Scotus’ decision basically throws the decision regarding immigration to the Federal level. It just so happen Obama is the president today. With right president and Congress, immigration policy can be strengthen. Obama made policy change (eg withdrawing the agreement with AZ police) in haste, only hours after the decision, without the benefit of this survey. Clearly, he’s on the wrong foot political wise.
Justice Kennedy is a deranged liberal clown. He has no idea what he has done. Talk about confused and addled. He should be impeached to preserve the Constitution, (Yes, he CAN be impeached.)
When I hear talking heads mentioning Kennedy wanting to preserve his legacy, and Roberts wanting to appear non-partisan, I get worried; apparently “legal” has no bearing on these decisions. I hope the talking heads are wrong...

It would certainly appear this way; in fact, Obama was acting like this very soon after his election. The “gay marriage” silliness and backdoor amnesty are just the latest examples - both of them are absolute losers at the ballot box (”gay marriage” having failed every time it was put to a vote, and even California voted against benefits for illegals).

Both of the parties who make Washington DC what it is support the free entry of illegals. They do so for different reasons, but both favor it and will do nothing substantive to reduce it.
I agree it is a bipartisan crime against the American people how immigration is handled, but Dems clearly represent the larger threat since Obama has made it clear that the issues relevant to “white America” (job opportunites, education, family) are nowhere on his list of priorities. The Republicans have less to gain now because the “cheap labor” aspect is irrelevant when businesses have no customers anyway.
Romney really ought to run with this. He needs to step up his game and put obama on the defensive.

The Democrats are throwing the election, precisely as the Republicans did four years ago. Ask yourself why.
Meanwhile, work at the taxing, spending, regulating and restricting factory at the Washington DC plant will continue after yet another routine shift change. This game keeps only about half of the people mad at the same time, instead of all of us at once.

We both know it’s all about Constitutional circumvention for more concentrated power.....each side of the RinoCrat Party grabs power....gets thrown out...and the other enjoys the benefit....all at the expense of the National Charlie Browns....We the People.
Little wonder DC wears its contempt for Flyover Country on its sleeve at this point.

Good point; both parties are watching it circle the drain. I remember the tough economy in the early 90s, and it was nothing like this; there is literally no end in sight as jobs are sent abroad while government spending continues to rise. Our birthrate is through the floor, and there isn’t much opportunity for “replacement Americans”, either.
If we toss the word “Arizona” in the sentence in the article it says the majority of the people want the immigration laws enforced. THAT is what the Constitution is about, and that is what the SCOTUS ruled.
The Executive is NOT doing the job the Federal/Executive was created for. The only answer has been all along to impeach, but we don’t have enough “representatives” in government anymore. We have a majority of self serving pirates stuffing their pockets with perks/treasure they have voted for themselves at our expense, and defense of those perks at the expense of their fellow citizen, and country.
