Charges against a man accused of attacking a school bus driver are expected to be upgraded now that the driver has died from his injuries.
Joey Scott is currently facing assault charges for the alleged attack on Juan DelValle.
Police said the 65-year-old DelValle was driving a school bus on Anthony Avenue in the Bronx on June 11 when he accidentally hit Scott's car.
Investigators said Scott then attacked DelValle and took off.

The AP story I read did not mention anything about race which told me what I now know to be true.

It took me four Google hits - using the word “photo” - to find one, and that one comes from an independent blogger.
CBS New York, to its credit, described Mr. Scott as a “career criminal,” but not until the 11th paragraph, and they provided no photo, which is why I instantly knew he was Black.
Yesterday I clicked on a local Chicago story, but can't recall the paper.
A white male was walking his dog around 11PM, a Black man rushed him from behind, slashed his neck with a knife, then stood in the street and just watched him stagger around.
Miraculously, the man survived, but not one report in a national publication.
I'm thinking it's time to have a special section at Free Republic where we can collate and archive Black-on-white hate crimes from local papers.
The MSM absolutely will not report these events!

How do they know the bus driver hit the car accidentally? I mean, if the driver sustained fatal wounds, was he in any condition to give a statement to the police or are they just assuming the old man wouldn’t hit the car on purpose? I wouldn’t put it past some NYC bus drivers to hit another vehicle purposely.
