Did You Know the Solo Cup is also a Measuring Cup (for Booze)?

UPDATE: A Solo rep has reached out and provided us with a new graphic. Turns out, while surprisingly accurate, those lines were not intended to measure spirits.
College students are familiar with Solo red cups. But they probably couldnt tell you what the lines mean.
The party cup actually doubles as a measuring cup except for liquor instead of milk. The first line above the base is the one-ounce marker, or a serving of liquor. The second denotes five ounces, useful for measuring wine. And the third one signifies 12 ounces, perfect for beer (the cheaper, the better) probably the only acceptable liquid for a Solo cup.
Good to know for the next kegger.

I drink about a half gallon to a gallon of water every day, and I spend a LOT of time in the back yard. ;)

I believe the 12 oz line but I don’t believe the other two lines are 5 and 1 oz respectively. Just doesn’t look right. I’d have to measure this myself. Seems both of those measurements should be higher up.

We mix polymers in those cups at work. I’ll have to see if those lines are useful for our purposes.

Seems both of those measurements should be higher up. They should move up as the evening progresses, eh?

Seems both of those measurements should be higher up. Or maybe you just like a strong drink..... nothing wrong with that.... :)

I've been on a diet that required 64 oz a day and, yes, you wear a path to the bathroom. Or, get one of these at your desk:

You can use it for a lot of things, but I’d wash it between uses. Personally, I don’t like salty wine.
