SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - An attorney for local law enforcement in two polygamous towns along the Utah-Arizona border says the U.S. Justice Department plans to sue both communities, claiming religious discrimination.
Lawyer Blake Hamilton tells The Associated Press the Justice Department informed him Thursday of the pending civil rights lawsuit against the towns of Hildale, Utah, and Colorado City, Ariz.

When anyone defends gay marriage to me I always tell them, I agree as long as Polygamy is allowed too. After all, its only fair. That shuts them up right then and there.
And I am serious. If we are going to allow gay marriage then we should allow polygamay too. The premise for supporting gay marriage is the same premise for supporting polygamy. This includes gay polygamy, incestuous polygamy, and bestial polygamy....why not include the family cat and dog too?
(And group marriage, too...Not just one man married to x of others...but a woman could be married to many men...or 5 men and 4 women mix-and-match ‘em...and some people love their pets more than any human being...and evolution tells us we’re animals, too...so why stop @ human beings...?)
I don’t see the point of harrassing polygamists. We don’t have to recognize their marriages, but leave them alone, they’re not hurting us. This is ridiculous, Federal law enforcement has nothing better to do than this!

Don't give us any spiel that Mormon mainstreamers are all that distinct from fundamentalist Mormons...They all are obeying the same Mormon god giving the same Mormon "revelation" -- Doctrine & Covenants 132 -- which no Mormon group has taken off "the books."
All of the Mormon groups recognize and claim they practice eternal polygamy. If you get married in the mainstream Mormon temple to more than one wife (sequentially, like when you are a widower), the expectation is that you'll become an eternal polygamist upon death.
So who are mainstream Mormons to frown on -- and look down on -- Mormon polygamists who are just practicing their polygamy a wee bit earlier than general authorities and others in the mainstream Mormon church?
Besides...mainstream Mormons believe ALL their early leaders -- all those polygamous Mormon "prophets" who practiced polygamy until their very first monogamous "prophet" (not til 1945) ... are all STILL practicing polygamists in the celestial kingdom.
Can you say Mormon ambiguity??? Mormon duplicity? Mormon PRism on the one hand -- and wink-wink, nod-nod -- on the other?

I for one hope that no Christian will vote for Romney, as he is a Baal and Jupiter worshipping cult leader, and such a vote would be "Having another god before God."
Romney is to 2012 America as King Ahab was to ancient Isreal, except that WE AS A NATION MIGHT ELECT ROMNEY....And if we mock and anger God by doing that, who will we pray to for mercy during his judgement ?
