And it should always be highlighted that this was all done in an attempt to gin up anti-gun sentiment and create momentum for legislative action consistent with that antipathy. Excellent point--thanks.

This is starting to look like a conspiracy to cover up the murder of two US agents, a large number of Mexicans and maybe some additional Americans by Eric Holder and unidentified White House officials, possibly including Obama. I suppose this now has to be litigated and Holder is in a position the delay this endlessly. Any Freeper attorneys care to comment on the process to litigate an Executive Privilege claim?

Let's see there's stonewalling, citing executive privilege, giving Congress the runaround...
Sounds just like Watergate except for all the dead bodies.

Can we all say, "Constitutional Crisis?"
The extension of Executive Privilege to the internal documents of the various Federal Departments is an abomination; unprecedented, extra-legal, morally repugnant, and tyrannical. Such an action should merit a swift rejection by an emergency convening of the SCOTUS.
However, the communist appointed and ideologically anti-constitution sisters (Ruth Bader-Lesbian, Sonia SotoLesbian, and Elena LesbianKagan) will think this idea is just peachy, while Justice Breyer will find his anti-American citations in Napoleonic Law.
Grab some popcorn..

The MSM can no longer keep this quiet.....at least for a while.
Sure they can. Have you been living on another planet for the last 3 years?
Remember the Libyan War?
Please read what I said: “.........at least for a while”.
Thank you.
You don’t need to tell me me anything about the MSM.

Every thinking American knows the F&F operation was an abomination. As nothing substantive usually comes of matters where an administration asserts Executive Privilege, all this really does is keep the matter in the news, whereas Boehner was almost ready to cut a deal. In that sense, this is a good thing, both for Brian Terry’s family and for purposes of the election.

Sure they can. I cannot believe some still think the media will voluntarily hold this administration accountable.
They will NOT. They will report once, and let it die. They will not birddog any story involving democrat lawbreaking like they will republican.
The GOP will have to step up or this goes nowhere.

That is what I was thinking, and even more sadly if they do, they will rationalize it, be in denial about it. And that is the biggest problem of all.
