Could be, but as pointed out by others on this thread Putin is not in the least intimidated by Obama (unlike, unfortunately, our Republican "leaders" who are scared senseless to challenge our socialist leader).

Not even close. Putin knows how to use Obama. Putin wants to be Obama's bestest friend when Obama is promising to reduce US nuclear arsenals. Not so much, when Obama wants Putin's close Syrian ally to step down and allow Syria to be ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood. Nope, Putin is NOT going to allow that.
Putin doesn't play with Obama. He knows how to use him. Obama is a clueless dupe perfectly suited to be manipulated by a master like Putin.
