SARASOTA, Fla. Despite Nik Wallendas frequent mentions of God the Father and Jesus during his high-wire crossing of Niagara Falls Friday night, an ABC News blog documenting virtually every moment of the achievement makes no mention of his verbal thanks to the Creator.
Wallenda, 33, the great grandson of legendary tightrope walker Karl Wallenda, walked across Niagara Falls on a high wire, as hundreds watched on TV at a block party in his Florida hometown of Sarasota, Fla., and millions of others tuned in for ABC television coverage.
Wallenda was fitted with a microphone during his tension-filled, 25-minute saunter at 200 feet high, and he could be heard praising God numerous times as he walked the length of four football fields from New York to Canada"

The list of words you can’t say on TV keeps getting shorter - but prayers to our Lord and Savior have apparently been added.

Well, except for the fact that viewers heard every word he uttered as he walked across the wire. It was on TV. The complaint appears to be that it was not printed in the abc news blog.
If he had called out, “Allah Akbar!” every couple of steps, there would have been NO problem with ABC/sarcasm
Great guy, I'm glad that he made it.
“...and he could be heard praising God numerous times ...”
Yeah, like every inch.
When I first heard him start praying to God, and Jesus (by name!!), I thought, “Ha! ABC must be so horrified, I’m sure he never told him his plans to praise Jesus, or they would have cancelled the show and switched to reruns.”
The FagMedia I suppose was hoping for a running monologue on the joys of anal sex with youg boys, or accessorizing dos and donts when deploying pink fur with tiger stripes.
This is another one of those “craving to be offended” situations, why should it be mentioned in the blog? There’s no reason to mention it. You could hear it, he wasn’t edited, but in the long run what he said during the walk really isn’t the important part, it’s the doing not the talking that matters, which is what the blog reported. There’s enough offensive stuff in the world already, no reason to go looking for extra.
Seems to me that ABC might be a little bit anti-Semitic for not acknowledging a 2,000 year old, deified rabbi.
Come on, ABC! Who’s yer rabbi?
And this was broadcast all over the world wasn't it?
Has he inspired you to try walking a tightrope across Niagara Falls, too?
We all KNEW that God or Jesus would have been kicked out by the MSM.
They really need to delve into the book of Joshua. Dissing God is not cool...
I kind of laughed at the first guy who interviewed him. As soon as Nik invoked Jesus’ name, he gave an awkward sideways glance at the camera. It was nice to hear Nik mention Jesus a couple times when he was crossing. I was really rooting for him.
This bunch are Comitted Christians as well: http://www.controlled-demolition.com/about-us
Doesn't matter what their blog says. Jesus WAS there, so therefore He can't be omitted. Just ask Mr. Wallenda.

I didn’t get watch but my friend told me Wallenda was talking to Jesus the entire time. Maybe they omitted it from reruns.
Well.....separation of church and government.....MSM is government now....ain’t they?
I saw an episode of CSI New York where an actress prayed the Nicene Creed aloud while the injured star held a Rosary. Once in a while TV gets it right.
As Mr. Wallenda made his crossing, he thanked the lord repeatedly.
Every time he did so, he was interrupted by the vacuous announcers or the guy in the production trailer. Every time.
