AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

CYALL later, I just had a couple of chili dawgs with onions and a bottle of beer.
I think I’ll go take a nap while listening to the rest of the show.

The only hunting they have is bow for deer and my shoulders are too shot to draw an arrow...even hopped up on Alive.

ROTFLOL! I am glad that Clint Jr. can assimilate into more than one culture.

I learned to speak in Pennsylvania. When I was 7 we moved to Auburn. But, my brother has moved north again (Chicago). One day, I was talking to my next-door-neighbor. She commented on my yankee accent. Then, that night, when I was talking to my brother he told me he hadn’t heard such a thick southern accent since he left home.

LOL!

I’m ‘retired’ after 50yrs+ of working 13-15hrs/day, 6-7 days/week, for others and in my own business, and bored-as-heck, CNS. I need some *mental entertainment*. (I’m almost ready to climb a water tower... and start throwing water balloons off it!)

LOL

Retired and looking for a little softer landing?

(Sez the going-to-be-70 guy)

Don't know where you live, but go look for a farm or ranch to work.

I just know now that I've got to be immortal, 'cause that's the only way I've got a prayer of finishing my To-Dos, let alone Grandma's HoneyDo List.

[This ends my touch-and-go FReep for today. Might see y'all tonite or Sunday....if the Grandkids let me use my computer.]

Good advice, UVNV.

That’s where I’ve been for the past 21yrs: my Family’s Farm Business, until the EPA, DOT, USACoE, DER, DEP, ruinous economy etc regulated/permitted/taxed us and thousands more ag-hort businesses to death, last year. I pulled the plug Nov 1st and retired, have 20ac left. 62 now and still need a challenge beyond mere ‘retirement’. I’m looking around...

KEWL, ag! I made a balloon launcher, in the early-60s, but the darned balloons burst upon launch, so it was never a commercial success. Kept the launcher-guy cool in the Summer WVa heat though...

WSYB 1380 in Rutland VT has apparently dropped Rush after carrying him for many years, replaced by Jim Rome. Other stations like WGY 810 Albany NY and WVMT 620 Burl VT should still have Rush
