Laws can never promote Vice—Vice has to be punished or discouraged through regulations—Vice destroys civil society and “Just Law” which is the basis of Rule of Law. Justice—is a Cardinal Virtue and is the basis of all civil societies.

We can never allow human beings to be used in debased, inhumane ways, such as in prostitution-—people used as a means to an end”. This Marxist ideology is incompatible in America where it is evil to use humans and sex as a commodity to be bought or sold. It would be an unjust society—dehumanizing—so the behavior should be discouraged and never promoted by laws. The laws would be unjust by their very nature.

Pimping yourself is still pimping so all prostitutes would be sentenced by boiling in oil if they didn’t hire another pimp.

My body belongs to me, not to the State, not to some invisible guy in the sky, and certainly not to you. If I want to rent it out it’s absolutely nobody’s business but mine and the other party to the transaction.

That holds true for digging ditches, pounding nails, or having sex.

As long as everyone involved is a consenting adult, of course.

Who gets to decide what’s “debasing” and “inhumane” anyway? You? Some priest? Some idiots in the Legislature?

Is cleaning sewers debasing or inhumane?
How about slaughtering animals for consumption?

How about you mind your own business and I’ll mind mine.

Laws do not promote vice.

But the nature of the common law is that there must be a victim, an injured party.

You might say that prostitution is unlawfull, and the prostitute is a “victim”, but unless YOU YOURSELF are that prostitute, you, or the law, have nothing to say about it.

You might say that the “John” is a victim, but unless YOU YOURSELF are that John, you, or the law have nothing to say about it.

It’s kind of like you try to buy an insurance policy for your neighbors house, then collect if the place burns down. It’s unconscionable.

You can’t arbitrarily decide what is right or wrong for somebody else.

That’s not “Liberty”, that’s social engineering.
