Black Businessman Has Soured on Obama

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Birmingham, Alabama. This is Orson. Orson, thank you for calling. I'm glad to have you with us today. Hi.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. It's good to talk to you.

RUSH: Thank you.

CALLER: I just wanted to make a confession to you. I voted for President Barack Obama, and I happen to be a black American. I'm also a conservative. And I voted for him because he was black. I know that may offend some people, but it wouldn't be realistic in my opinion that a minority could ascend to the presidency. So I would have voted for the first minority whether he'd been Jewish, or Asian, or Hispanic.

RUSH: I understand.

CALLER: So he had my vote.

RUSH: Orson?

CALLER: But when I look at it now --

RUSH: Orson, I totally understand that. You don't have to apologize or make excuses for that. Everybody's aware of the historical nature of that election, particularly for black Americans. That's totally understandable. The question is: Are you gonna do it this year?

CALLER: Absolutely not. I mean, that decision was made a long time ago that he was not getting our votes again, mine or my wife's. Because we talk about everything together, and we're small business, and he's been a lousy president. I mean, that's just the fact of it. And we don't have the option for on-the-job training. So we need someone who really understands and knows what they're doing on the first day they take office.

RUSH: Orson, let me ask you a very serious question -- and I'm asking this because I really want to know. I'm trying to learn here. That never stops with me. At what point, for you, did the fact that the president is black stop being a factor for you?

CALLER: Oh, when the economy just continued to get worse. When we're right at the debt that we cannot pay. I have -- we have -- a small business, my wife and I, and we can't run a business that way. We can't incur bills that we have no hopes of paying and no way to get out of this. We don't have the income coming in, so we can't keep running a massive deficit. And he turned down the pipeline and --

RUSH: Well, you're still... In terms of that kind of thinking, you're a minority. But it does appear that at least according to polling data in North Carolina, that Obama is losing some support that he had from black voters in 2008. There's no question. A lot of white people voted for Obama in '08 because he was black. They were hoping it would be the end of racism and all the acrimony.

But I'm glad you called.

Great to have you in the audience, Orson.

“CALLER: I just wanted to make a confession to you. I voted for President Barack Obama, and I happen to be a black American. I’m also a conservative. And I voted for him because he was black.”

A lot more honest than Colin Powell.

Caller: Hi! I wanted to make a confession to you. I voted against Barack Obama (and certainly not "for" John McCain), and I happen to be a American (kind of a creamy pinkish tan).

I voted against him not because he is half-black, but because I recognized him as a dorm-room bong-hit radical, a faculty lounge Bolshevik, and I would laugh in the face, while spitting, of any "conservative businessman," black or otherwise, who was too ignorant to see that also.

Screw him and his idiotic apologies.

Looks like Orson is late to the party - plenty of us small business owners figured out Obama in 2007-08. At least he realizes just how badly Obamanomics is crushing our part of the economy. A lot of us aren’t going to make it 4 more years if the Marxist-in-Chief gets gets re-elected.

Don’t laugh. When Herman Cain was running, the MSM called him racist for questioning Obama.

that guy is NO conservative, the only honest thing he said was he is black. Do you think a herman cain type would vote for soetoro X just because he is black [or half black].

I remember well. I remember seeing some left-wing “genius” saying something along the lines of “voting for Herman Cain is racist”.

good post trailer park, I agree. The black guy voted communist, but he says he is a conservative. What was he watching or listening to? The commie soetoro X wouldn’t even wear a US flagpin, hung around commies, wouldn’t show a birth certificate or any records, told joe the plumber he wanted some of his stash etc.

the funny thing is... Obama ADMITTED exactly what he was in his biography... and people refused to believe it.

I honestly had a conservation with my parents (blue dog democrats) before the 2008 election... and they totally and completely believed that Obama had lied in his own biography about his drug use and other things to make himself look cool!

...

How do you argue with someone like that?

They wont even believe the truth when he admits it!!! And THEN with a straight face they insisted that Obama would cut the deficit! ROFL

Probably true of most voters for Zero... they voted for him because he was BLACK...
Simple straight forward to the point.. they made a racist choice..

True of all of them no matter their race or culture..
True no doubt of Tingles Matthews or Bill Maher..
And doubly true of most black people..

Amazing that most racists in the United States ARE BLACK...
Not all but most...

A small businessman who votes for a marxist because of his skin color is a racist. I don’t care what color you are. I hope he goes out of business. He and his racist pals pulled a lot of the middle class under for the sake of their skin love and pride, or in the case of whites, their skin hate and shame. Freakin’ brain washed retards!

Before I address this, I want to make it crystal clear that I am not piling on this guy because he is Black.  Instead I will be piling on him for his logic, for what he has done, and for what he failed to think about before voting for a man so clearly unqualified to be president.

I can say this with a clear concience, because I would vote for a Black man I considered to be qualified.  I supported the Black Republican candidate for the Presidency earlier this year, Herman Cain.  And if I can be big enough (what I actually think of as reasoned enough), to vote for a Black man I think to be qualified, it seems only reasonable to demand Blacks refuse to vote for a Black man they know not to be qualified.  And if there was ever a man not qualified, Barack Hussein Obama was it in 100 foot tall flashing neon lights at the corner of First and Main!

I don't vote for anyone just because they are part of a group.  I don't vote for anyone just because they are a member of my race.  I don't vote for anyone just because someone I like says to.

George Bush and John McCain are clear examples of what I'm talking about.  This year Mitt Romney will be another.  They are not qualified to be president.  My qualifications are quite simple too.  1. The United States comes first and foremost when Conservative ideals are implemented.  2.  If it's good for the citizens of the United States, and it's good for the nation too, then it's sound policy.  3. NO FORIEGN NATIONAL, FOREIGN EFFORT, FOREIGN ORGANIZATION,  or FOREIGN LEADER trumps our citizens or our nation, especially when it comes to sovereignty and the rights granted to us by our Founding Fathers in our Founding U. S. Constitution.

Putting the 'same race' thing aside for a moment, there's another aspect of race that rears it's ugly head here.  If I were Black, you could never convince me to vote for a Black man to be president that could possibly wind up being seen forever as the worst president in the nation's history.  As a Black man (which I am not), I would want a man that could shine, would show the whole world what a fantastic job a qualified Black man could do.  Where was this type of concern when Black people voted for Obama?  If you tell me 90% of Blacks voted for Obama, you are also telling me that 90% of this group wasn't smart enough to think about his candidacy with enough savvy to be too concerned to take a chance on someone so clearly unqualified.  That's a message I would never want to transmit to my fellow citizens, let alone the world at large.  I'm not saying this to put Blacks down here.  I hang my head at the reality of what was done here.  It saddens me beyond belief to realized what fine Black people did in 2008.  It saddens me beyond belief to know other people joined them, making almost as big a mistake.  Many of them were not blinded to the realities by being in of the same race,  none the less, they voted based on race too.  My fellow citizens, this is more shame than I would wish for any of you.  And yet, there it is...  the collective shame you all so richly deserve.  Man this is depressing for me, and I didn't even participate.

"
CALLER (to Rush): I just wanted to make a confession to you. I voted for President Barack Obama, and I happen to be a black American. I'm also a conservative."

It almost makes you burst out in tears.  Don't worry brother, you weren't alone by a long shot!  However, you must determine, to NEVER EVER do it again.

I appreciate Rush being polite, but this is something I can not understand.  I would never betray my people to vote in someone who would endanger them to the degree Obama has.  NEVER!  So is this guy going to do the same time when some idot female, Jew, Arab, or other percieved minority or member of a special interest group gets the nomination?  Now there's a scarey thought.  Just damn...

Here's another thought Orson (the caller), did you know you are not really a member of a minority.  You are a citizen of the United States, a man whose vote carries as much weight as any other citizen's vote.  Your vote for president can either be a vote for a well qualified man, or it can be a vote for an unqualified one.  It isn't a Black vote.  It's a racial neutral vote.  If the candidate is Black and good, I'll join you to vote for them.  If the candidate is White and good, I'm going to expect you, as my equal, to vote for the White guy.

Deal?

But that kind of racism is politically acceptable, even mandatory for those with the mental disorder known as liberalism.
