Well, this is a majority GOP district, so it is a bit disappointing. Then again, these are the same “conservatives” that keep electing Juan McCain every 6 years.
Any one local know how redistricting will impact the race in November?
BTW, the Dems exploited Giffords big time and that probably had an effect.
This district isn’t conservative at all. The only Republican ever to represent this awful place was a gay Rino.
I’m not that sure about it being a majority GOP district. There is alot of independent voting, and local politics play a big role in sizing up the crowd.
“Then again, these are the same conservatives that keep electing Juan McCain every 6 years.”
Over democrats, so what’s your point?
Not even close. The redistricting made it predominantly Democrat, and the preponderence of voters in the old district leaned Liberal with the influence of the UofA.
Cochise and Pinal Counties went to Jesse Kelly by 10 points, while Pima and Santa Cruz Counties tipped the scales in Barber's favor.
