I bet most FReepers know President Obama was always in favor of homosexual rights. He was deceptive during the election. He had to be, because as California’s gay marriage vote proved, a good number of blacks do not buy into Hollyweird’s anything goes culture.

True, but he allowed his loose lipped VP to box him into a corner, and 'evolved' his position on gay 'marriage' over night.

Now, some are of the opinion that this was all orchestrated to give Obama an excuse to publicly come out in favor of homo nuptials, but he and his handlers would have to be nuts to think that his black supporters would buy into that, under any pretense. He's supposed to be the boss, remember? How is it that his goofball VP can force him to adopt a position which he knows is going to sour the mood of the black community?

I'm sorry, but even the numbskulls in the White House have better instincts than that. Especially when it comes to his core constituency. No - in this case, I think it played out exactly as it appeared. Obama caved because 'Stand Up' Joe knocked him into that corner. He would never have gone there in an election year, otherwise.

I don’t know if we will ever know what caused Obama to come out, but as a political strategy, deceptive though it was, his “evolving” stance was a good one. It gave socially conservative blacks enough wiggle room to support him. Now any black who professes to be a Christian has no excuse. A vote for Obama is a vote for sodomite rights and religious oppression.

So, will it be obama or biden that announces the first White House Homosexual wedding?
