WASHINGTON Attorney General Eric Holder defended his departments challenges to states voter ID laws on Monday, alleging that those on all sides of this debate have acknowledged that in-person voting fraud is uncommon.
Holder spoke at the League of Women Voters conference where he challenged those who believe that easing registration hurdles will only lead to voter fraud.

FYI: Holder has also been fighting states trying to purge voter rolls of felons and the dead.(as required be the Voting Rights Act)
What about absentee vote fraud, hmmm?
But the Obama administration is all about Change, so ... just stand by: they've got a plan.
Or the extra 19% that voted in Winsconsin.
Everyone knows holder is a partisan hack. By refusing to allow voter ID laws they are promoting and encouraging voter fraud. How much? Not sure. Holder doesn’t want us to know how much.
Holder only knows what the voices in his head tell him
Yeah right Holder. That’s why John Connally wrote about LBJ pushing him to register dead voters in South Texas.
Holder is the congenital liar who can’t tell the truth.
Personally Eric, I think any moron who doesn’t vote “in person” really doesn’t need to vote. If they can’t get off of their lazy asses to go vote, what will get them off of their asses? Moochelle needs to add getting off your ass and going to the polls to vote part of her exercise program for America.
You nailed it. Holder specified ‘in person’ because he knows 0bama won’t be able to win without the Democrat’s Trojan horse: ABSENTEE BALLOT VOTER FRAUD!
The ‘Rats own get-out-the-vote propaganda says one vote can change an election. If that’s true then any fraud at all is too much.
And everyone knows that Holder is obstructing justice.
We’ll see...
When no ID is required HOW IN THE HELL can anyone know?
Maybe Holder is telling the truth with his fingers crossed behind his back because maybe he is right about most election fraud not being done in person. Maybe he personally knows that most election fraud is NOT done by voters but by political machines in city hall. Remember the Minnesota miracle that saved Al Franken’s election? The election was very close until a ballot box filled with 500 ballots was found in the truck of a car. Miracle of miracles every single vote was for Al Franken. That was definately not done by 500 individual voters showing up in person to cast fake votes. That was done by the Democrat party machine stuffing ballots by the hundreds. I even think they have ballots marked well ahead of time just to give the voters a little help in making up their minds.
The Alinsky playbook is getting pretty thin.
If no effort is expended to detect voting fraud, the the logic follows that the statistics will show the detection of it is rare. AG Holder, this is a form of the Correlation Fallacy and is taught in basic logic class. Did you miss class that day / week? Did you take logic? If 2 men in semi-uniforms stand in front of a polling place door, are they only metaphysical because they resemble Obama’s nonexistent son?
Murder’s uncommon too. Should we tolerate it?
Also, let’s follow another line of attack. Say we stipulate that it is uncommon. Now, consider that maybe 95% of elections are not close races (with a few percentage points). In the 5% of the races that are close, let’s say an average of half of those are in districts where Dems don’t dominate the polling places, so the fraud is not allowed. We’ve got 2.5% of the races, with under a 3% difference, where fraud is likely to occur. All it takes to tip those races is a small percentage of the total votes. So, all you need is a few percent of the votes in a few percent of the races (multiplying fractions results in a smaller fraction of course), and you can tip the balance of power in states and even the whole country. Vote fraud applied strategically in the right circumstances, therefore, is still a serious risk to the democratic process, even if it is quite rare.
Once tens of thousands of fraudulent voters are registered by ACORN, et al, then none of those individuals commits “in person” fraud when he or she turns up to vote on the basis of the fraudulent registration. Voter ID stops that by requiring a state issued ID that will only be issued once, like a driver’s license, with no individual being to get more than one. Then the local officials be able to allow valid voters, in their districts, to register and vote.
