A jury in Gwinnett County, Ga., has awarded $3 million to the widow of an Atlanta police officer who died while having three-way sex, finding that his doctor was negligent in not properly diagnosing and treating his heart condition.

Jerk got what was coming to him. Why should the doctor be resposible? Should the doctor specifically say “Don’t engage in a three way?” Shove him in a hole in the ground and fill it in.

The jury found the doctor 60% to blame and Martinez, the cop, 40% to blame, from what I can determine. That likely doesn’t satisfy the doctor.
It doesn't sound like the wife was involved, possibly two guys and a girl, though.

Honestly, is there no sense of shame anywhere anymore? If my husband died in such a disgraceful situation, I would die of embarrassment. I would certainly not want to show my face in court for the whole world to see. Disgusting.
I don’t know if I’m more disgusted by this perv of a cop or the nitwit jury that awarded him $3 million. Personal responsibility seems to be a scarce commodity.
