A security director for the National Basketball Association said in a lawsuit Monday that Geno Auriemma, the coach of the United States Olympic women’s basketball team, followed, grabbed and tried to forcibly kiss her at a hotel during a basketball tournament in Russia in 2009.

Not that I have any comments on this story, but when I went to the Times web site, there was an ad w/ a picture of BO & family asking me “Wish BO a Happy Father’s Day” by clicking on the ad to sign a “card” to BO.
Bet that it would also entreat me to make a donation to his campaign as well if I actually clicked on the link.
Never saw anything like that for any past presidents. BO sure is a piece of work!!
It is within the rights of homosexuals to abuse and harass young athletes of the same-sex; after all, it is a sexual preference. Heteros are to be fired in a heartbeat for the very same behavior, but under normal attraction situations. sarc

Wonder how her lawsuits against aspirin manufacturers, for forcing her to pick cotton to get at their product, is coming along?
What does it say about this gal's competence in the security field that she's a helpless victim of a run-of-the-mill masher?
She apparently has no sense of irony. Irony alone should get her (ancient) lawsuit dismissed.
If you are Geno Auriemma, and you have such proclivities, are you going to grab the mean, hardened security guard, or the eager to please college co-ed?
He’s been coach there forever, and there has been no hint of misbehaviour from the scads of eager college co-eds who are now mature women.
I believe there are women who resent a successful man coaching some of the greatest girls’ basketball teams of all time.
Oh, and in Connecticut, if you are Geno Auriemma, all you have to do is walk into the lounge of your choice, and there would be no shortage of women who would be happy to give you whatever type of attention you desire, no strings attached.
Sounds to me like this woman got fired and in an effort to get her job back, she dreamed up this scheme to sue the guy for sexual harassment. It took her 3 years to bring suit against this guy, Why? IMO, because he didn’t try to kiss her and she thought that one up after she was fired.

Geno Auriemma having orgies with scads of coed basketball players would
be far more believable than his seeking candy from this, er..., woman.
