Liberals who start this crap should be told to work through the system they have created to take rights away from the rest of us.

if they want a name changed, they should come up with the money and signatures it takes to put it on the ballot. It should not be just "Change the Name". It should include the new name they want to sell to the voters.

If it is passed they should be responsible for all the expenses associated with changing the name: legal fees, contracts, schedules, school signs, scoreboards, gymnasium floors, uniforms, cheer leader outfits, insurance contracts, etc.

It did not. It is more rampant today than it was in the 60s.

Numerous schools -- elementary, high school, and college -- are having the same battles. Many of those have already capitulated and changed the names of their teams and/or changed the logos/images of those teams.

Libs/progressives don't mind that it takes decades to accomplish their goals. Whenever an issue initially fails, they renew it a few years later.

See articles on Global Cooling/Warming/Climate Change which have been going on since the hole in the Ozone Layer in the 60s/70s. Even after the recent revelations of fraudulent data to support it, the AGW supporters are still pushing the idea of climate change as a man-made problem.
