How convenient : a seizure claim AFTER a hit and run ( no blood or urine test performed as well ).

Having a documented seizure can cost you your driving privileges for a long time. This is desperation defense and I hope this guy understands what is at stake.

He's the Secretary of Commerce. I'm sure he had a driver at his beckon call. There is no reason for him to be "driving" around LA.

The question we should be asking is where was he driving from and where was he driving to. That will probably help us to answer the question of how he could get involved in 3 accidents and not remember anything at all.

Where did these accidents occur and what was he doing there?

I will wait it out before destroying the man with conjecture.

He could have had a seizure.

If he had a seizure, it would explain hitting his apparent confusion..And multiple accidents. I hope all are okay.

If this is his first seizure, that explains a lot. My cousin has the milder form of epilepsy and cannot drive...Even through his ‘blackout’ moments are rare, they’re enough to keep him of the road.

BS to this doctor

My wife had a seizure in the ER while I was talking to her—lost presence and never knew it when she recovered
Scared the hell out of me
I thought she had died as she was completely unresponsive

He had to quit driving but after a year on medication and no further seizures got her license back
Been OK now for over 8 years

The entire thing could be answered with the release of his BAC. Did they even take one?

I don’t believe the law for hit and run has ANY provisions for when it is permissable to leave the scene of an accident. Officially, that is. Unofficially, if one is a high ranking lieberal democrat then laws for the rest of us do not apply. Of course the offender must be aware that voluntarily placing themselves under the proverbial bus is a requirement for not having law treat you as a normal everyday citizen.

See article posted here about Issa and committee going after Brightsource, Bryson’s baby. Letters were issued June 7. Bryson had to be very disturbed over the weekend. And near his old office. Why?

House Republicans are broadening their probe of the Department of Energy’s largest solar-loan guarantee. Rep. Darrell Issa, the California Republican who chairs the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, sent letters to the White House and BrightSource Energy Inc., the loan-guarantee recipient, asking for e-mails and other documents related to the $1.6 billion deal. (snip)A second letter from the committee asks the White House to turn over all internal communications related to BrightSource, including with the company’s investors and with utilities set to buy its electricity. It also asks for an explanation of how Commerce Secretary John Bryson, BrightSource’s former chairman, was vetted for his current post.
