Suspect in Sexual Assault of 3-Year-Old Now Charged with Making Threats [NM]

Las Cruces, N.M. — A man arrested June 1 on charges that he sexually assaulted a 3-year-old relative is now charged with threatening to injure the young girl’s mother and grandmother.

Andres Baca-Linares, 29, now faces one count of criminal solicitation to commit bribery of a witness, a third-degree felony offense.

Baca-Linares was incarcerated from June 1 until he posted bond on June 5. Las Cruces Police detectives learned that while Baca-Linares was in jail, he placed a telephone call in which he made threats directed at the child’s mother and grandmother.

Police re-arrested Baca-Linares this past Saturday on the criminal solicitation charge.

On June 1 Baca-Linares was arrested and charged with a first-degree felony count of criminal sexual penetration of a minor. Detectives learned that on May 31 the 3-year-old girl was seen by a pediatrician who discovered that she was suffering from injuries commonly caused by sexual penetration.

Detectives learned that Baca-Linares had custody of the girl for a few hours on May 29. Shortly after Baca-Linares returned the child to her grandparents’ home, the girl complained of discomfort and indicated that Baca-Linares had touched her inappropriately.

Following his June 1 arrest Baca-Linares was being held at the Dona Ana County Detention Center with a cash-only bond set at $15,000. His new bond amount has been set at $50,000 cash.

Gangbanger Mexican "tough guy". Another article referrenced an ICE detainer. The Mother and Grandmother mentioned should also go to jail IMO for leaving a 3 yr old with a P.o.S. like this. Sexually assaulting/raping children is perfectly acceptable in many parts of Mexico (more info on my page). This is the "cultural divisity" we should be welcoming with open arms? No, this is a perverted sickness which is actually celebrated by those who wish to destroy the entire moral fabric of our country (and their enablers).
