The principal of a Brooklyn, N.Y. elementary school has reportedly pulled the song God Bless the USA from a kindergarten graduation ceremony so as not to offend other cultures, according to the New York Post.
The kindergartners had spent several months learning the song, which was set to close out the program, until P.S. 90 principal Greta Hawkins came into a recent rehearsal and told teachers to scrap it.
We dont want to offend other cultures, teachers quoted Hawkins as saying, according to the Post.

But no problem introducing the kiddies to the gay agenda.
Good start, but what really needs to be shortened is the career of the principal in question.
I read in another article on this story that she’s a Jehovah’s Witness.
If true, does it mean they all share her anti-Americanism?
And Islam, which was seeping into the Massachusetts public school curricula since at least the 1970's.
I guess the people who were offended and/or perplexed and concerned by that just weren't "equal" enough.
Is this perhaps the forty-twelfth time this has been posted, starting with last Thursday? Huh?
Have the kids sing all 4 verses of the Star Spangled Banner.
Verse 4 should make her head EXPLODE!

So, yes, to the general question, this Hawkins might be a JW but more likely just seriously mentally disturbed ~ and shouldn't be allowed in the presence of children alone.

There are many accounts of this, and I hope all are posted here and shared on social media.
Just out of curiosity, did someone force you to click the link?
I’d hit it.
Damn the other cultures, this is the USA! Like it or leave it.
My first time reading it...and I have done searches for things before posting and come up with squat and once posted, have been alerted that it has been posted already. I don’t understand that and never will...benn here a long time too.
Thanks.
These self-appointed hall monitors slay me. Most of us have a life and don't live on here 24/7, let alone taking the time to try and catch somebody with that childish nonsense.

Yes it is interesting. Another AA clown with an agenda polluting young minds.
You’re probably right. Mental disorder independent of religious belief.
Though I do have to ask you: JWs don’t like cupcakes or don’t like birthdays?
It's a bad case of Christmas worship although I think they are not big on that either ~ remember, their founder rewrote the Bible to suit her theology. This write up looks fair: http://www.spotlightministries.org.uk/birthdays.htm
The JH rejection of Christmas is a bit different than that of the Apostolic Old Lutheran Curch (Laestidian) or it's American counterpart (although two centuries older) the Apostolic Charismatic Church of the First born (or Faith Assembly). There the dispute is over the proper date, and underlying that is the fear that the formerly pagan high holy day occurring roughly in the last week of December might be mistakenly celebrated.
Herd Lee Greenwood say the reason the principle didn’t like it was because of the second stanza “.
I’d thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can’t take that away. “
Something about worshiping the flag.
