SUDDENLY, MANY WAYS FOR ROMNEY TO REACH 270 ELECTORAL VOTES
Big Government ^ | June 10, 2012 | by JOEL B. POLLAK

The Obama campaign wants to make the 2012 contest a “choice” between its candidate and the Republican party; the Romney campaign wants to make the vote a referendum on Barack Obama. Mitt Romney is laying low, letting the election revolve around Obama--and winning. While his campaign pushes back against Obama and the mainstream media, Romney is shaking hands on the trail--and winning support in key swing states.

At the outset, Romney’s path to victory seemed a narrow one. It was universally agreed that the 2012 contest would be fought in roughly ten swing states. But Obama’s weak economic performance, and Romney’s quietly effective campaign, has narrowed the field of play. It is now reasonable to imagine that Romney will win in North Carolina and Florida--two states that Obama won in 2008 and that he will likely lose this time around.

It looks like Debbie McCaskill (D-MO) is definitely going to lose and the GOP will pick up that seat. Also, we’ll probably pick up Florida, Nebraska, Wisconsin and the GOP will definitely pick up North Dakota as the Dem, Kent Conrad, is retiring. Dick Morris thinks the Pubbies will definitely take control of the Senate. He breaks it all down here:

AGREE 1,000%

If Comrade Soetoro wins, America will fall to communism and future elections will be history.

Soetoro MUST BE STOPPED AT ALL COSTS IF AMERICA IS TO SURVIVE.

I just hope that after Romney loses, his fans will be willing to join with real conservatives to create a united unanimous front.

Newbie, if you knew this board like you think you do, you would know most of us aren't exactly "fans" of the Mittster.

Most of us are ABO. That's the first step of getting rid of the stench that is 0bamao.

When your guy Hoefling gets some traction, ping me.

I respect your sentiments but you are kidding yourself
if you think that Romney’s judicial nominees will be as
bad as what Obama would give us in a second term.
And, the judges will be around a lot longer than either
Romney or Obama.

As far Romneycare vs Obamacare there is at least one
difference. The people of Massachuetts wanted Rom-
neycare for the most part while the American people
don’t want any part of Obamacare.

You mean when they're lined up against the wall when the socialist revolution comes? Because this country won't be worth a devil's squat if 0bama is running it for four more years.

I just hope after Romney wins, real conservatives will hold him and other Republicans accountable for all promises made.

I hope Morris is right - a conservative congress will keep Mitt going in the right direction - at least they ought to.

No more of this “power sharing” crap please!

If for any reason Bork Obunga should be re-elected, it is over, period. There will not be any pieces lying around for anybody to try to pick up or put back together four years down the road.

That is the basic fact of this situation and everybody needs to get it through their heads.

Well, I’m never going to tell you who to vote for, but it must be painful tfor people to vote for someone they don’t like.

My point is that I don’t want you to vote for me or Tom. There are only two real parties in this country. Everything else is a circus sideshow. Libertarians, Greens, Reform, whatever, they have no power in the United States. If you vote for anyone other than Romney, you’re voting for Obama. If you stay home, you’re voting for Obama. If you only vote down-ballot, you’re voting for Obama.

Thanks, mplsconservative.

Another 0bama term is not an option.

Yes, it needs to be a crushing, humiliating defeat for bambi, with the Tea Party spiking the ball repeatedly in the end zone and dancing the Commieconquer shuffle.

Then the Tea Party needs to turn to Romney and glare at him, letting him know he will be next unless.......

Living with another four years of 0bamao is what I would call painful, extremely painful. I'm an adult and I know how to vote.

I’m not a Romney fan but let’s be smart and see this is as it is.

Never ever interrupt your opponent while they’re making a mistake. In this case it’s never break a news cycle when it’s about something bad for your opponent.

Hoefling will get less votes than his hero Keyes got in 2008 47,746 [0.04%].

“Right now, let’s get Obama out of the WH.”

The unions, the gays, the abortionists, the communists and the dependent class MUST be defeated THIS election or we could lose the country as we know if for decades.

While I argued against Romney strongly here, we have to see him as the figure head of a collision to get rid of the Obamanation.

With a Republican Senate, it could keep his liberal tendencies in check.

My wife agrees with you - not voting for Romney is a vote for Obama. A friend at work says that not voting for Obama is a vote for Romney.

If I don’t vote for either of them, I get two votes!

I do try to be respectful of folks who feel compelled to vote for Romney, but I reserve my right to see his candidacy as doomed.

Blah Blah Blah

May your rot if Romney is a backstabbing traitor.

Getting out Obama is great, but backstabbing the tea party is what is ruining America at the moment.
