This whole brouhaha over the bail seems to be tied to his advocates’ legal online fundraising. Zimmerman apparently told the judge honestly enough that he had no idea if the fundraising would allow itself to be used for bail. And the judge treated it as though it wouldn’t, but has changed his mind now. Anyhow, Zimmerman might be let out again on a larger bail, but it would probably scarcely garner a comment deep in the newspaper and most people will never hear.
I am an attorney. His attorney is a dumb ass. On day one I would have said “My client, Jorge Zimmerman, ....” I would even have filed a motion to get kosher food so my client can get in touch with his Jewish heritage during these trying times. He would be home plaing X Box the next day. And no, I am not a criminal lawyer but I would have made an exception.
The term trayvoned up to now has been coming up on the internet as the self defensive killing of a thug. I expect in the future it will refer to the misguided persecution of an innocent person who acts in self defense.

I see nothing in the report of any "injured knuckles" under 'Evidence of Injury' to support this comment/slant at all.
I'm still convinced that there's something not quite right with this Zimmerman fellow. If someone I cared about was putting a gun in his belt and walking around the neighborhood searching for and confronting people he thought suspicious, I'd be very concerned. Eventually, things are almost certain to go wrong.
Maybe after a trial, I'll view him differently.
From the viewpoint of the Dems, the ideal outcome is that Zimmerman gets killed in prison. That’s the reason they wanted his bail revoked.
I’m kind of ticked at Mark O’Mara about this one. He should have warned GZ about the jailhouse phone calls ahead of time. Jailhouse recordings were a favorite tactic of the prosecution in the Casey Anthony trial. O’Mara should have known they would be listening and fishing for a hook.
The 90 year old war veteran husband was beaten and his jaw broken. He was shot in the face numerous times with a BB gun and sent to the hospital in critical condition.
The 85 year old partially blind wife was RAPED and then BEATEN TO DEATH.
Can you just imagine the pain, the humiliation, the horror that dear old lady experienced being gang raped by that pack of feral animals?
(the autopsy states she was raped. Don’t think all of these animals didn’t all participate)
And can you imagine the pain, the horror of that dear old husband having to witness this?
Mr. Strait died from his injuries last week.
There’s a lot more involved here than a home invasion and robbery.
