I agree with you, if they keep it down to 64% or hopefully lower, then that means a lot of money and influence that he doesn’t get.
The extra bonus is that it makes us feel better, a consistent 78/79% seems hostile to America.

Matt Brooks at the Republican Jewish Coalition should be excited about this, but there's a lot more work to be done within the Jewish community to build the GOP brand and to break the addiction of too many Jews to the 'Rats.

This is a potential opening. With two exceptions (1972 and 1980), Republican Presidential candidates have never topped 33% of the Jewish vote.

I think I know the source that you are using for that factoid (a table in a book edited by a partisan 'Rat), but I'd question its accuracy and reliability. First of all, those numbers on the Jewish vote are from 'rat sources who have every incentive to fudge the numbers at least somewhat in their favor. Then again, any pollster trying to poll the Jewish community is confronted with major practical difficulties in obtaining statistical accuracy, particularly in older times when the means for sampling and communication were much less developed technologically.
Yes, Jews have tended to skew toward the 'Rats ever since eastern European immigrant Jews and their descendants began to comprise the bulk of the Jewish voters in the US in the 1920s. But the Jewish vote is relatively so small that the factoid you posted is not one of cause and effect, but rather represents the general tendency for the Dem % of the Jewish vote - though significantly higher than the Dem % of the general vote - to fluctuate up and down in accordance with the fluctuation of the total vote. In other words, when the 'Rat candidate does better generally, he does better among the Jewish voters, and vise versa.

Reagan got 39% of the Jewish vote in 1980, Carter got 45% the rest went to Anderson and others. In 1984 Mondale got 67%, and got his ass kicked overall. Nixon only took 17% of the Jewish vote in 1968 when he won in a squeaker, but doubled that in 1972 when he beat McGovern in every state except Massachusetts (McG also won DC). The largest Jewish support for a Republican was in 1916, when Hughes (who?) was beaten by the single party state theorist Wilson.

You’ve never heard of Charles Evans Hughes? He was a Supreme Court Justice who resigned in order to run for president, and came within a whisker of carrying California and thus the presidency against Wilson in 1916. When Harding became president in 1921, he appointed Hughes as Secretary of State, where he served until Coolidge named him back to the Supreme Court, this time as Chief Justice. He was a great American, and one of Homer Simpsons favorite Justices:
“Imagine my daughter on the Supreme Court, following the footsteps of such luminaries as John Marshall, Charles Evans Hughes, Warren Burger ... mmmm ... burger . . . .”

Of course you are talking only back to c. 1828. There is anecdotal evidence that the Jews voting in the US from the Civil War up to around then - mostly of German background - were majority Republicans, based on an admiration for the legacy of Abraham Lincoln. Eventually, with time and the change in the origins of the American Jewish population, that faded into history and it was replaced with an obsession with Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Furthermore, IIRC, Eisenhower is believed to have received about 35% of the Jewish vote in his two elections vs. Adlai Stevenson.
The real issue with this demographic is not so much votes as monetary support. I suspect that is off substantially even among those who still say they would vote for him.
